Hey everyone. The name is bomatt. I've been using cannabis for a long time, about 20 years and my state has recently voted on possibly raising the tax on bud, once again. So now I think I should look into having a few plants. It is legal in my state to have up to 12 per adult. So basically I'm here to learn, make some friends and possibly grow some dank weed. Not sure how to go about it just yet so gonna do some research. Hope to see some of y'all around.

Hey welcome to the farm. I think there will be a surge of new growers for the same reason. Now is a great time to get into it too. There are resources for every type of learning and plenty of options in terms of methods and equipment.
Research -> Ask Questions -> Experiment -> Learn -> Research ad infinitum

Man i tell ya these states that allow 6-12 plants makes me envious. We only get 4 where i live but of course i do push it alittle maybe LOL. I'd grow them outdoors man i can't wait to get outdoor going again.

Is it 4 flowering plants or just 4 total? Some states have laws that are for flowering plants so you can have the same number in veg.

Welcome to the Farm bomatt! TONS of reading here in the search bar and even more folks willing to help you along with things if you need it! I recommend starting a grow thread separate to this introduction. It’s a place you can keep your own tabs and if you ever need help, its a place folks can look back and maybe be able to see what led to what ever is you might need help with. Not saying you will need help : ) just throwing it out there

Thanks for all the love guys. I'm really excited to get started. I will be starting a grow thread just as BearWater suggested. I will also be keeping my own grow journal word document with higher amounts of details. I will be growing outside. Inside really isn't possible at the moment. I'm living with another person that doesn't use cannabis so I would have to convince them to get past the smell. Plus, it's my first grow and I'd rather not spend a bunch of money on equipment if I can help it. Maybe, in the future if I get better at it and it's a viable option for a steady stash of fresh bud. I did get my seeds in the mail yesterday and I should be getting more in the mail today. Again, thanks for all the love and hope to see y'all around!!
