welcome to the farm my friend! your plant it is exhibiting classic mag deficiency. It is caused by LED lights output being set to high. The proximity of the light to the top of your plant is also an issue if you can anyway raise that light, it needs to go up a good deal at least 26 inches if you can find it, otherwise we’re going to have to talk about some LST or super cropping options If you don’t wanna run into some bigger issues here in a little while there’s a nice looking plants dude but if you could, what is your output set to?

Thanks man i appreciate that! & yea im actually waiting on the cal mag to come in the mail hopefully its here tomorrow! Lol & i was thinking should i add a trellis net? I know its its a little late though i turned down the light intensity being as though its so close to the light at least until inadd the trellis netting.

A trellis is still an option, but it looks like it’s gotta happen soon. And yeah, turned down the lights a good thing just for right now. You gotta allow the plant to harden off to it. Cal mag won’t necessarily fix this. It’s a combination of things that are causing it so the Calmac is a good thing, but it needs a multi approach of the light proximity and output being rectified and a little bit mag ain’t gonna hurt nothing.
So I’m gonna go ahead and ask for a couple more pictures of your complete grow if you could you know a wider shot and what are you feeding it? How often are you feeding it and what kind of soil are you in??

In order to get you a little bit of extra headroom in there, you might just have to takeoff the little clips and the actual light hoist itself. If you have any rigid ground wire around or anything capable around, zip strips, ect. just use that to tie it off to the top of the bars up there it’s easy and it buys you a pretty decent amount of space, and as far as VPD is concerned, I’m not the dude I haven’t paid attention VPD, kli, ppfd, dli, any of that stuff, when I started growing none of these metrics existed for us, and it was really hard to get thorough detail grow blueprints that wasn’t Jorge’s book or a tidbit of info monthly from high times. I read my plants and what’s going on with them. You do this long enough and you’ll be able to tell what’s ailing your plant without even having to apply any of these things. I also see that you are a Hydro grower DWC, my knowledge base is limited on that I’m more help here in the lighting department because I don’t rock the PPM and all that other crazy stuff. I have a good idea how all of it works it’s just that soil is my game and lighting. I know someone who rocks that stuff and kills it though I’ll go ahead and tag you to him. He’s a killer. @Trash_2002

Hey man, I say go for it ! the more that you know in this game the better off you’ll be at the end of the day anyway , I’ve just never really gotten out of soil because it’s always worked for me man so I never really had a reason to stop using it, You know what they say if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it and that Murphy is around every damn corner…
And I say this a lot of the time is that in cannabis cultivation school really is never out. I still learn shit all the time and I’m a 24th year grower this place is a blessing in that regard. sure this place can have some idiots join some contrary folk that just want to see the world burn but for the most part, I would say 93.999% of the people here are awesome. Great down to earth farmers With an absolutely ridiculously great knowledge base available

I agree 100%! Every method of growing has its pros & cons..regardless of what ive heard about other methods, im the type thats still gonna experiment anyway lol. What doesnt work for someone else might be easy for me. Exactly, like my research i thought i knew it all, but as the plant grows im learning different things i would only learn hands on. There’s def alot of information/ topics im seeing already, ill def be active on here everyday lol..dope to talk to people that understand what youre talking about & have that love for the plant as much as you do!

Preach brother.
I’m a serious fannabis of the cannabis.
If there’s anything that you’re interested in I:e
Super cropping, lst, scrog, trellis, sea of green ect hit me up. I’ve done it all. Multiple times, I switch up. My grow space and do something different every time to break up the monotony of it all. And to push the boundaries a bit. Fuck with conventional methods
And about this growing stuff that we do is that you can read all you want, but actually taking that knowledge and applying it and having the right situation to apply to that all comes through redundancy and getting a few grows under your belt. it’s way more dynamic than anything your expecting. bc all the variables we deal with creating a proper micro climate, is not easy. and maintaining it? It’s even harder, but there’s always a way to skin the cat. Here’s some pics of my current project. Pic 1-2 current grow
3-4 veg room
5-9 lst results and the types of under carriages you will end up with from the practice.
10-11 super cropping to control plant height and over size, and a previous crop.

Yea definitely man! Im growin a single plant right now, platinum garlic og :) probably have about 6 weeks left on her, then i get to learn how to dry and cure it haha

Been really awesome here so far, so many experienced growers just hangin out ready to help.

Iv wanted to grow in a DWC for a while! Tried it once with a tiny janky setup, didnt work great, poor little plant got gnarly root rot cuz i couldnt keep the wated temps down low enough :( glad to see yours is working out though!
