Hey everyone, I'm doing my second grow and my first from seed. I checked my girls this morning and noticed a white moldy looking substance on my soil. Obviously I've googled photos and it looks like mycorrhizae or at least that's what I'm hoping lol. Can anyone help me with this, lol.thanks

Your soil is staying way too wet is my guess, let it dry back and see if it goes away

I literally let it dry almost completely before I water. I just watered yesterday which is why it still looks wet.

Let it wilt first and then water it. It'll be fine as long as you don't let it fall over. Wait till a bunch of the leaves wilt and then water it. Might not have good enough drainage in your soil as well

could be mycelium, but looks like white mold - what kind of lighting and why is she so wet? Your lighting and fans should be strong enough to dry the top-soil after one 18hr Lights-on cycle? You are literally Providing a perfect over-wet under-lit environment to grow mold.

After my waters my top soil will appear dry in a few hours… main soil stays wet for 2/3 days. Perhaps you’re not watering too often, but too much water each time?

Idk what everyone else thinks but to me it don’t look like it should be there. I’d def be bringing out some neem oil or some other type of fungicide. Also what is ur rh? If you’re sitting above a 65 it’s gonna make it a lot easier for mold to grow.

I have 4 - 3 gallon pots and I used a gallon and a half on all 4 plants. Also it's only in one of the pits. RH is low 70's

Like g nick said you need less moisture more airflow try to dial back the humidity to a 60 maybe and get a fan throwing some air down there

It's almost always too often, you can put an absurd amount of water in as long as it's not too often

That's what I was thinking based on the photos I've compared mine to but I am new to this so I figured I'd reach out.
