1st time grower here. Pls. Excuse dumb questions !! Once seedlings sprout in dixie cup size container, how soon and strength of light? Closeness to "babies" ? I have the tsw2000w led light in a 4x4 tent. I also have some 4' florescent dual bulb lights i could rig up if they r better to start with. Seems to be some debate over this issue. Tks. Starting with medical, high cbd, ac/dc seeds.

Use this app.

Lux Meter (Light Meter) - Apps on Google Play

Professional light intensity (lux) meter for your android device.
play.google.com

Clones under 5k
Seedlings/rooted clones 5-10k
Veg 15-40k 18/6
Flower 45-65k 12/12

Always start at the low end of the scale and work up 3-5k every few days based on plant response.

Most often the plants will actually grow into the light that adjustments don't need to be made very often.

I really need to stick this info lol

Starting under floro is ideal imo. Although not a necessity by any means.

Pretty much anytime. The reason for the floro is the color spectrum is using higher K rating so keeps them for stretching and less intense but if you follow the lux values I gave there is no issue stating under LED.

If you do start under LED and they stretch its due to the spectrum (color temp) of the light... not intensity like you will hear... thats a very common misconception.
