Hi All-

I am a new grower living in New England. I've grown vegetables most of my life and was interested in seeing if I could begin to learn the ins and outs of growing cannabis. I started some indoor this Spring and recently dried those plants out and a friend in the industry gave me four outdoor plants to grow which, so far, are doing quite well from a newcomer's perspective, though I've had plenty of advice along the way. Outside of gardening, I enjoy fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Both of my kids are off to college, so I figured I'd try to gain some knowledge from veterans who have the experience I don't. Look forward to getting to know you.

Welcome! This place is full of friendly knowledgeable people. You are in the right place. Sounds like you already have gardening skills so you'll be able to help a few guys also. Right on. I love to grow and fish too, and play a little chess. Good luck in your garden brother

Welcome! There are a ton of outdoor New England growers around here! But the season doesn’t really start for another month or so so keep your eyes peeled! Good luck!

Welcome from Long Island. If you are a vegetable grower, weed is up your alley. I grow mine in my vegetable garden, treat it the same as as everything else in the garden. Always open for any help you need.

Mel Frank "Marijuana Growers Guide" (1974). This will show you the basics of growing. They still apply today and might stick in your mind your whole growing experience. That's a start.

Yeah, they will! But they won’t show you how to get a plant to the finish line in New England!

Now don’t be putting words in my mouth! What I’m saying is, no one on the East Coast has ever seen a finished plant! well I better get back to mowing before all. Hell breaks loose!

One of the guys I know finished up early November. He’s on the north side of the south fork, away from the ocean, was good weed. Reminds me of guys when surfing wishing it was bigger, offshore wind, lower tide etc. my point is, it’s what’s happening now. I can’t transport to beautiful California, but I sure do enjoy growing weed here.

And once again, welcome to the farm! When you get a chance, if you feel like it, maybe start a thread and layout your plans! This thread was started back in September! But you could continue here! Back there it is important to avoid as many mistakes as possible, and there are some great growers back there like Jimmie, who can point out weaknesses in your plan before they turn into catastrophes! You’ll have a lot of fun! Happy growing!

OK then just keep growing by the numbers! When you become an instinctual grower you'll know when your finish line arrives. It doesn't matter where you live. Was just trying to help, bet you've never looked at the book, and your assuming the info isn't in there
