hi ! everyone im new and a new grower, however I have been farming most of my life . I have a question . I have a young plant its about 1 week old and its stalk is 4 inches tall ? is that normal ? the other are about 2 inches tall. thanks

their in a grow room. in a grow tent. under led grow lights .

If all environmental factors are the same. Then genetic or phenom difference. reguarl Or fem seeds?

A friend gave me these seeds, they got them on the street. so I know nothing about the seeds..

That’s your issue. Genetics will cause this and yours are unknown

So you had a combination of things go wrong here.
Light is too far away which resulted in the stretch of the tall one.
It looks like the little guy has a bit of the seed casing still clinging too the first leaf head. See if you can’t clear that with tweezers. Be very careful with the stem and plant you do not want to break anything.
also you will want to transplant the tall guy as in the next few days. Make sure you bury as much of the tall stem as you can in the soil it will become root mass in future. You will want just the first leaves poking above the substrate.

an ambient room temp above 80 can also cause the seedling to stretch so be careful with lowering the light if the temp was above 80 even for just one day..
