New in the forum

Hi all, finally I joined the forum but not new to the site! I’d already like to thank everyone for there great work and for sharing a wealth of information which has helped and guided me many times. At this time I have five plants growing outdoors in pots, 2 x purple punch auto (nearing harvest), a laughing buddha, a blue sunset sherbert and an unknown plant from a seed I found in some weed(this plant is big and getting out of control)
I would happily share a few pics if wanted but don’t want to bombard everyone with more pics if not wanted!
I already have a few questions brewing but will try and find the correct place in the forum to ask!

Thanks! It would be a pleasure! Any tips recommendations very welcome!This is the unknown seed, still in veg but not sure if I should top it or not.

This is my blue sunset sherbet, pot could be bigger but seems to be happy.

This is the laughing Buddha, although it gets the same treatment as the other the leaves are slightly pale but it seems happy.

This is one of the purple punch autos that is approaching harvest time in a few weeks maybe.

This is the other purple punch auto approaching readiness.

Both the Purple Punch Autos looked identical and then something happened and they now look very different but both equally happy and stinky.
All seeds were germinated on the 1st May so 9 1/2 weeks in now.

As I said ANY tips or suggestions very welcome especially about topping the big plants!

That Laughing Buddha is just hungry. I remember that strain- it was devouring feed like pig cooked potatoes. Got to make a special batch for more hungry plants in flower

Thanks! I put it down to tips from here and a pinch of good luck! I’ve done a couple of plants before and they were ok but this time I mixed a few things together in a cement mixer for the soil and payed attention to PH and this seemed to make all the difference, it’s a very rewarding hobby! I always have problems with drying here as the RH is around 80%, this will be the next challenge and probably the most important.

Whatever you’re doing it looks like it’s working! I’m on my first grow with some bag seeds, it’s been a learning experience, mostly me getting in my own way ha. Got five plants still going, one had six but one pulled it’s balls out yesterday

As long as they're not flowering you can pinch the growth tips at the top of the tall ones and it will stop them from getting any taller, they'll tend to bush out instead

Thanks! I will do this, should only have a positive effect on the plant, I have a little fear of damaging something but it’s all a learning curve!

Using grow bags instead of plastic would be a way to go next time with that RH outside then you will have nicer dry/wet cycles. For now I would raise them and give airflow under

The growing part seems to work out ok even with high humidity. I don’t let rain get directly to any plants that have started flowering, they only receive collected rain water direct to the soil in the hope this avoids any mould or rotting. The problems start with the drying which ruined my already small crop last year as I’m trying to hide the plants and the smell at the same time find a suitable place but this year now the laws have changed in Germany I don’t have to be careful which gives me more freedom, but still high humidity and temp is really hard to deal with and the best I can achieve is around 21‘C and 63% RH, I have no other choice than to go with this and hope for the best! Anyone got any tips to better these numbers?

I think you did outstanding job so far
heat is coming to Europe I heard so you might miss this humidity and run with like headless chicken
