Hey everyone.

New to growing as a whole. Tried a hydro years ago which unfortunately I lost like 2 weeks in, stem was super flimsy and snapped when I was trying to secure.

Started partaking in use almost 8 years ago, and came to find myself at the point where I would rather grow myself, put the effort in, and enjoy the final product through my own work instead of blast thousands of dollars a month paying state taxes/dispensary fees/etc...

May have lots of questions with mother natures greatest gift, so apologies upfront if they are dumb. Never had a green thumb of any kind until last year when the fiancé and I started up homesteading for self reliant gardening.

Outside of this adventure, retired professional gamer, disabled veteran from OEF/OIF era and what else have. Glad to be here and looking forward to bettering my knowledge.

What game were you playing professionally?

I actually played Starcraft professionally. Played Brood War from 98-08, tried my hand at courage league in korea and WCG (amongst online league play with PGT/WGT/ICCup). Then went on a few years later for SC2 from 2010-2013 doing MLG and what have you. Military time, family, nasty divorce and so on pretty much killed it all for me. Tried coming back 3 years ago and could hang, but not like I used too. Now I just play casually.

Oh God, Starcraft... just visualizing the speed at which people go nowadays (and back in the day too) makes me have a headache. Im more of a shooter and moba guy, played counter strike source "professionally" (I wasnt getting paid shit, just gifts from sponsors) for a couple of years. I get it man, I feel like my lack of exercise, my mental state and my age have handicaped me when it comes to being competitive in videogames hahaha I just play casually too now, I just care about killing time when Im bored. I try my best of course, but Im not nearly as good as I was when I played css in a national team, not even remotely close, but I dont care either.

Speed hasn't hit me at all. Still just as fast if not faster honestly. Refinement from the 20 years of people playing and not having the time myself to truly refine is my issue today let alone the maps are so imbalanced and race favored.

Makes me wish I didn't quit just as I was starting to peak is my biggest regret.

CSS and 1.6 I never could get into mainly because of being stuck on dial up for so long. Mobas I did Dota2 for a few years on/off, did LoL to P2 as a jungler, messed with HoN/Strife/Paragon but never could make it my thing.

I am looking forward to black ops 6 though since it's going back to the BO/BO2 roots.

So more of a meta thing I guess, things evolve very quickly specially with certain patches and obviously in RTS certain maps that enter the professional map pool. I played a whole lot of COD 2 and COD: MW online back in the day, to this day my favorite mutiplayer shooter after counter strike. I didnt like MW2 and didnt even bother checking further, only this year I played the Black Ops campaign out of boredoom and the MW2 one, the MW is the best, MW2 second and Black Ops kinda meh for me. As for the multiplayer, I cant even touch COD online nowadays, I get rekt big time hahaha Im not used to fast paced shooters. Anyway, glad to have you here, keep us posted about your adventures!
