My closet is 8 1/2 x 7 1/2 feet. So I want 36x36x60 tent but I think 24x36x60 would fit better in there but I need more than 2 feet width in my opinion? The box it is in now is 18inches width and the plant is only 5 weeks old and you can see in pics that it doesn’t have a lot more to grow out in that box so that why I think 2 feet won’t be enough space. What do y’all think??You’re constraint by having to fit in half the closet will affect your potential harvest, that said what size do you envision would fit?
Your plant will expand into the tent, and subsequently adapt to it. I’ve got a 18”x36”x60” right now with a single sativa that’s doing ok for me with a four Cree cob set up. Any tent will allow you more utility and a means to exhaust and filter out odors with an internal/ externally mounted charcoal filter fan combo. My closet is 8 1/2 x 7 1/2 feet. right, clothes are for the chair backs and floor. Lol feeble attempt at humor...My advice is to buy the biggest you can fit an afford. It’ll be too small but you’ll be happy you didn’t go smaller.
I have a full basement but where I from the temps are chainring drastically every day so it’s harder to control the climate down there. In the summer it will be easier.Your plant will expand into the tent, and subsequently adapt to it. I'm running my eight hundred watt cob set ups from 9 PM to 9 AM, that takes care of the chill at night and has kept my grow area between 70-80 degrees F.I have a full basement but where I from the temps are chainring drastically every day so it’s harder to control the climate down there. Serious question here. I thought about do that but my 2 smaller plants seem to know when it’s morning and night time? Is that normal? Like in the morning before lights come on they are perky and around 8-9 at night they start to droop??I'm running my eight hundred watt cob set ups from 9 PM to 9 AM, that takes care of the chill at night and has kept my grow area between 70-80 degrees F.
I agree that you need 2 seperate tents. I figured I would use my homemade box for veg and tent for flower. I don’t know how to clone but I would like to try it this time. my plant 37 days old (5 weeks)It really depends on how you want to harvest. A single tent is easier but after harvest you are starting from scratch. 1 small tent for veg and 1 at least double for flower and run a perpetual grow harvesting more often. But taking large clones is a lot easier and cheaper than getting beans and germinating. Just my 2 cents.
Bigger/more holes in those buckets, you'll risk root problems without more air access and drainage...imho. Think air pots () here's a good example to strive for.I agree that you need 2 seperate tents. I figured I would use my homemade box for veg and tent for flower. Put more holes and bigger holes it it today. Thanks for adviceBigger/more holes in those buckets, you'll risk root problems without more air access and drainage...imho. Think air pots () here's a good example to strive for.
Great idea!!!With a sacrificial grow bag, a pair of scissors and a glue gun, you can glue fabric patches over the holes to block out light into the holes. After this grow the patches can be relocated inside the pots.
