New Member Using Fogponics

Hi all
As the title says we are using Fogponics for a full grow.
Our system is automated and it has been a challenge to say the least. However we seem to have a handle on it now.
The growth rate is unbelievable this system is very touchy. We see changes within an hour on the plants. We have had a hard time setting up the algorithm for keeping the nutrients just right. The plants are going on their fourth week and we are seeing 2 inches of growth in twelve hour period. We topped the plants last week and begun tying them down. Trimmed them yesterday and will have to trim them again in another day. I do have a question. We have leaves sprouting every half inch on the stems. Must have well over 30 stems on the smaller plants. Where do we draw the line on how many colas we leave. No one we have talked to has seen this kind of growth at this rate. They are just growing like crazy.
Any advice or comments are useful. Anyone with fogponics experience we would love to hear from.

First pic last week we just started tie down. Second pic a couple of days ago. We have trimmed since then. They are now really bushy again.

We will move them into the unit in a couple of weeks. They will stay there 5 weeks then harvest. A quick cleaning and load it up again.

That last pic looks troubling.
May be the lighting, but all the fans look to have serious nutrient troubles, not to mention poor turgor, and leaf folding.
Perhaps pic was at lights on, but still.

I'm wishing you the best, but so far this is looking challenging.

I agree with dunge, the second pic looks like trouble..
My first though would be root trouble...
Are you fogging the roots or the leaves, or the whole plant?
Is that metal square thing thats under the leaves that surround all of them, is that the fog outlets?

One of main problems with fogp is when nutes are too warm. Root chamber must be < 74, and better closer to 68

Root zone is 65degrees. Fog itself is 68 when it hits the roots.
Oxygen rich atmosphere.
