New outdoor grow , slight problems need a diagnose

I have 6 nice plants of some Orange Kush and some of them have pretty fat leaves and some stains that I’ve never seen before . I use FFOF soil (Fox Farm Ocean Forest) and as of rn I use their FF grow big nutrients but I’m not sure when to switch to the over drive nutrients . They are pretty small for their age, their roughly 4-6 weeks old EXEPT for my two little girls witch I hade just planted a week ago . Can anybody see if they know any of these symptoms

A little nute burn, too much feeding but that white is more concerning. Powdery mildew? Not sure as I've never had it on my weed, mainly peas and cucumber.

Check for bugs with a magnifying glass on both sides of leaves. Neem oil (1-2 Tbl per 1 gal water in spray bottle) works on powdery mildew but you need to treat them soon if that's what it is. Spray once a week both sides.

Plain water for a couple waterings until under control and then half the recommended nutes.

I've also read a lot about using aspirin, one 325mg plain aspirin in one gal water and add the neem oil, spray plant. I'm trying it out currently with my peas and without the neem oil for clones.

Never spray when hot and sunny. Early morning has worked well for me.

I’ve read about the been oil but I just bought a 5 gallon tub of Big Time Exterminator
I read this works too but the nut burn I will look out for and as of the mildew I’m not sure other I was concerned it was WPM (white powder mold) but I pruned it to be safe (this was before I bought that) thank you a lot though for replying . Oh and do you know anything about the fat leaves? I know indica is naturally fat but I’m not sure if it’s that wide. I’ll have to take a better picture

Oh yeah, Indica leaner or high percent. I'm working a cross and get both. I love those fat leaves.

Easy on the medicine, it can be worse than over feeding.

Yeah I don’t really know how to use it I spray a 8oz bottle of a tablespoon mix with it or maybe a half of one. But I put some in two water jugs so I can already have the mix ready for tomorrow but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea . I’m new to growing weed I usually grow squash and tomato and such

They look good, a little over watered. What type of soil are you using?

Just seen you’re using ocean forest. Is this what you started with from seed or have you already done a transplant? I recommend fox farm happy frog for seedlings then work your way into ocean forest. Sometimes ocean forest can run a little “hot”.

Yeah hot soil and overwatered. Also the leaves look wet, if you are misting it with something, Id stop doing that. Cannabis likes to be dry up top.

I saw the white patch that looked like PM too but I think that could just be a reflection on the wet leaf.

Yeah I’ve been using ocean forest since start , I use it for all of my crops , but yeah I do mist them almost regularly but that’s only because I’m Las Vegas are humidity is usually at like 9% , I just bought some Dr.Q to help with the heat stress. And I use Big time exterminator for my pesticide and fungicide protection. ( Sorry for the late reply I’ve been out of town )

Misting doesn't help plants in humidity, bro. They take water in through their roots.

My #1 reply with plants like this is asking the grow medium, and caution against using too much nutrients. especially with Fox Farms stuff, which is usually packed to the gills with nutrients. I'd either flush them, although it probably won't help, or maybe transplant them into something less toasty. FWIW, once they get a little bigger and the roots are more developed, they will be able to better take advantage of the hot nutrients.

But it will help cool the leaves a bit in high temps of mid day sun if they are getting heat stressed. But yeah won't help with humidity one bit.

Thank for telling me , do you know of anyway I can help up the humidity in my grow area . I’m about to head home in thirty so I’ll let you guys see how my plants look now and it’ll be nice to know what you guys think.

If you keep the feed lower and don't let them dry out it would be good. Just because it's not optimal doesn't mean it can be done. You would probably have better results with optimal conditions but that's not to say you don't get good results without optimal conditions.

As for feed and stuff I grow in hydro so I can't help ya there. But plenty of extremely talented dirt growers here in your thread that could probably advise you much better on watering and feed practices for your conditions.

How dose the hydro growing do ?

With that soil and that humidity, I would just use straight water with a ppm of 100-150. Using harder tap water you could dilute it down to those numbers with RO. Or using RO you could add Calcium Carbonate and/or tap water to bring it up to 100-150ppm.

When it comes time to start adding nutrients start really low, and I personally wouldnt go above 500ppm, on a feed/feed/water cycle with humidity that low. Probably wont be until they are in flower or really close to it. But obviously you will need to feed them more specifically based on how hungry or overfed they look
