Yeah I am thinking it will have to be two circuits. I am in Colorado and this is 100% legal so I am just gonna tell the electrician what I am doing and ask for his opinion. I would LOVE to just use one outlet so I don't have to buy multiple timers and sync them and shit. I will let you know what he says.

I dont think its possible to use only one outlet i think the highest they go is like 20 amps and you need more than that. The county doesn't want you to use a ext cord as a permanent solution such as wire it to your box or some shit. But they are fine if you run one under a door. just make sure you buy the right cord a 15 or 20 amp cord is what you need run it to the next room. done

Fans generally pull better than they push, open doors, wind etc. can cause blowback when the fan is pushing the air through the filter. I personally would switch the position of the fan and filter but put the filter inside the tent/room with the fan pulling air through it, this will create a negative pressure and keep your room from leaking smells as bad.
Nevermind, it looks like that is exactly what you did.

Scrub the room for smell, do it rite the first time with your electrician. It's very important not to cut corners especially if you plan on expanding your grow in the future. Always think of the future with your grow if you are passionate.

I have added a Can Filter to the grow room. It is a Can-Lite can filter. I have about 576 cubic feet of room. My Can fan is rated for 940 CFM that is in line with my two hoods and my can filter. The fan is sitting in the window sucking the air out of the room. So I am pulling the air. I have 2 CO2 bags on order that will sit on the hoods allowing the CO2 to drop to the ground. I have mounted the can filter almost to the ceiling allowing the hot air to be sucked out.

I intend to defer to the electrician for the best way to setup the wiring...

I have attached the most up to date diagram. Any more input is welcome.

The electrician quoted me $1866 to run 3 new lines of 14/3 romex and setup the outlets in the room as well as install 3 new breakers into the breaker box. He said he could do the breakers and outlets for about $500 if I run the lines.

Does this sound right to you guys? I am already in the process of running the romex. What about the $500 bucks to "consolidate" some circuits to make room in the box and install 3 new breakers and outlets?

Man i dont want you to get the feeling im not for doing things the right way but this is just extra money you didnt need to spend with a small grow. I ve run both these 12 light gardens off ext cords for a year. That being said. the right way would be to have like a 30amp wire run to the room wired for 220 and plugged into a light controller. then all the ballast would run off 220 half the amps. If your already running the wires id say the 500 bucks is a rip off but worth it. if your getting 3 outlets @ 15 amps you got room for another light

Fuck... Oh well this will work at least. Having one light on and my can fan the 15 amp breaker would get really hot. This is what started me down this path. I had another 15 amp receptacle available through extension cord but two other rooms were on this so that worried me. Then in summer if I needed an AC I feel like I was gonna be fucked.

Any ways I got 2 of the 3 14/3 romex wires fished through the wall. But thinking about the whole situation I am thinking I am going to run 1 ballast per new outlet and then all my fans on the preexisting circuit... Wouldn't this work? Why do I need a third wire? The guy was even talking about a forth if I wanted to add AC.... I mean following the 80% rule 2 would be more than enough.... How could he even justify 4?

yep two wires should be fine. like i said if you run three you got extra for whatever. Most people run one big wire to a controller that the lights plug into. that big wire runs to a 30 or 50 amp in the box. yep 1 ballast per is fine.

The house was built in 1985 and I am thinking that the box can not hold a breaker as big as 30 or 50 amps. I don't know. I really liked the guy and he seemed knowledgeable but now that I have had time to think about it I am not sure he wasn't trying to sell me...

Do you have an electrician here in town other people you know have used?

Yes I now realize that the can fan needs a pump(which I already have on the left) I will add a fan to the filter as well. Thanks for the heads up. I am working on a new diagram and will upload shortly. I will also post pictures as I go. I got all of the trash out today and am working on digging down a few feet to give me more room for my plants, as of now there is only about 4 feet. I also hear what you are saying about that not being much room for 2 1000 watt lights. The crawl space is far larger than I will ever need so I am going to make the grow area bigger. My soon to be uploaded diagram will show my new ideas.

THANKS for your input Fishmaster42. For as many videos and articles and how-tos you watch and read, specific information is soooo helpful

My RDWC Micro Grow Set Up. Large footprints are nice and we all know, deep in our hearts, that's what we want but, most of us have to stick with a small growing area. I took the idea of a closet and fashioned one in my garage. It's a little archaic, but I like a very controlled environment and wanted to disturb my plants as little as possible. When growing 2 plants at a time (primarily Durban strains) I have achieved great harvests per plant and have been able to keep them on a 14-16 week, start to finish, schedule. Prior to this set up, I was a greenhouse grower and augmented pure sunlight with CF tube lighting. Here's a few pictures from my build many moons ago.
