New to DWC and THC Farmer!

Hey guys!

Happy to be here. This is my first time growing cannabis and decided to grow her DWC style. I am growing Blue Dream and she’s at about the 4 week mark after I transplanted

Her ppm’s are sitting now at about 530’s. PH is anywhere from 5.8-6.5. I topped her last week since I’m only growing in a 5ft tall tent.

She is looking Nice and healthy. Was thinking of switching her to flower next week but not sure if it’s the right time. I’ll post some pics of her her progression.

1st pic is before her top, 2nd is during and 3rd is after. She’s a little more fuller than the last pic. I’ll take a better pic today’s free work for you guys.

Not really sure if she’s ready to switch yet, was thinking pushing her another week or 2 let he fill up more, but lmk what you guys think! Glad to be on here and happy to meet everyone!

Ya that’s what I was thinking. Especially since I topped her. I just changed her res over the weekend so I think next weekend or the following I’ll swap her over. And let her go.

She’s about 4 weeks of strong veg. When do you guys think I could swap her to flower?

I might be seeing some distortion in your growth (twisted leaves)... when this happened to me it was due to root rot. Are you using an anti-fungal protection? Also vital to be sure you are pumping enough air into the pots.

My first grow was with auto-flower seeds, but they were significantly larger than that when they started blooming. I think this is the image I have before blooms started showing up:

Also, if you haven't already, read up on Vapor Pressure Deficit and adjust your temp/humidity accordingly.

I am constantly adding iced bottles in my bucket, 3 times a day and also have the water about 2inches below the net pot.

ya it’s annoying lol. If I don’t do that the res temps get up to 80+. Next grow when I have more room I think I’ll invest in some kind of water chiller and not have to worry about it.

She’s at about week 5-6 of veg. Her main cola was topped early on because I only have a 5ft tent. I also topped a few more times and this has been how she’s grown. Wondering if I should swap her to flower yet.

Newest pictures look good. My amateur opinion may not be worth more than a coin-toss, but I think you should let her get a little bigger before you switch.
Here's a shot of my first grow (autoflower) when she started blooming:

She was only topped once. I got about 4oz yield from harvest. Can't guess how that might compare across diff strains.

Ya I’ve topped her about 4 times. The main cola and then some side colas. Im thinking of letting her get bigger too. Maybe even a few more weeks. Let her get taller too.

How much taller did she get during flower? I have a 2x5 tent so my fear is height

she looks great in the photos, I’m hoping to get at least 4oz out of mine. I’ll be pumped for a first time Grow to get anything 4 and above.

When transitioning to flower do I immediately up the nutrients or do I need it to be a progression? I just swapped her to flower today and I have her ppms at 850 with my faucet water having 150ppms on its own

I usually do half bloom and half grow nutes through the first week of stretch.
Then week 2 bloom nutes full,
Ppm depends what your plants are used too, i wun 1000 to 1100ppm end of veg, and 1100 to 1200 in flower, work it back down till flush.
