New to growing and loving it!

Just wanted to pop in and introduce myself. After months of research and educating myself I finally pulled the trigger and I am currently in week 5 of my first grow. Holy hell is this an absolutely fun hobby that I didnt know I needed. The amount of information to learn and digest is almost as fun as the grow itself. Both very challenging and rewarding at the same time. I kick myself for having waited this long to get into it. I dont even consume that much cannabis but I figured growing it would add a new element and give me a lot more insight into the plant. Anyway, hope all the other new growers are enjoying this as much as I am. Cheers!

Yeah, totally different than growing tomatoes ain't it?

I had low expectations for what I'd be able to accomplish in the garden. I couldn't be more stoked with how it's gone.

You're going to learn a lot about the plant. If you grow a variety of them you'll grow accustomed to the thiols and then you'll start smelling all the unique notes of individual plants that hide behind the thiols. If I open a jar, my wife just smells skunky weed and I smell the fruity aroma of the terps. That's an example of how your nose will get tuned just by being around it all the time.
