I have chronic pain issues and my aunt gave me a clone of a high CBD strain. I've got basic grow directions but trying to figure out the details.

We are here friend. Welcome to the farm. Why don’t we start with the space you can use. Or are you planning on growing outdoors? Write a bit about your ideas/budget and I’ll help. I love helping people get set up and if your dealing with pain, let’s get the medicine flowing. Also Go to forums and click search forums. Ask what you want to know and odd are you will find lots of info.
Hmm.. bathtub. I used to grow however I could with whatever. Still do, except i have at least some proper gear now.I've got a pretty low budget, but already have basic potting supplies, a grow light that should still work and fertilizer galore (my aunt is a gardener so basic supplies are at the ready).
I'm leaning toward setting it up in the bathtub we don't use. It would be real easy to run a line for the light and it's got great sunlight during the day. We don't use that bathroom much so it never gets humid. I think it's too cold in the garage and I don't trust the wiring to run a heater unsupervised overnight. While I live in Northern California, it's still to cold for it to be outdoors, even my greenhouse is dropping to low 50s at night.

So you have the light. What is it? Fluorescent, HID, led?
What kind of fertilizer is available to you?
Do you have a duct fan or any decent way to take air out and bring air into the space?
Neighbors nearby? Tub will work. Put a wire rack or milk crate in there to sit her on. As for the flourescent if it’s that old it at least needs bulbsThe grow light I have is florescent and probably 15-20 years old. I remember it being there when I was in HS but it may be older. I've got a $200 budget that came with the clone and hoping to get a new light. The bathroom has a window and fan. At home we have all the EB Stone fertilizers, most soil amendments and cow manure. My aunt has a wholesale account at several nurseries so I can order what I need through her.
Ya that floro will do great for vegging plants but not so great for flower. If you shop careful led is an option with your budget. Also high pressure sodium and metal halide is a good cheap way to go. Especially if you want extra heat. I payed 100$ back in the day for my first 400 watt hps. 50$ for a 150w his yard light. Got a couple 400 watt metal halide shop lights given to me free when a company changed em out. Led s are cheaper on electricity tho and run cooler. But can get pricey. Check this out. Ordered 2 of these splitters for 9-10 bucks a piece on amazon. Locally, 800 lumen 9 watt led bulbs where on sale. Had a couple 1500 lumen ones around as well. Ended up spending 40 bucks for two of these lol. 145 watts totalThe grow light I have is florescent and probably 15-20 years old. I remember it being there when I was in HS but it may be older. Yeah I have a multi head like that I’m running 24w led flood bulbs Phillips I’ll get pics. I pop the plastic frosted bubble off. 2700 k and ridiculous bright. But I have burned spots on plants if they get too close. One of these bulbs lights whole bathroom like outside in bright sun. I paid about $20 for a 4 pk if the bulbs at Walmart. They are 100w eq 24 true watts each. I got 2700 for flower spots. but they have other kelvins too. Which technically are probably a lot brighter looking than the 2700k s I got.Ya that floro will do great for vegging plants but not so great for flower. I like the 5000k s. Got a few 2700k s also. Right on man. It may not be the most professional but we got that good shit flowinYeah I have a multi head like that I’m running 24w led flood bulbs Phillips I’ll get pics. Here they are. My lamp is a 5 head snake thing my girl was gonna throw out. I kept it n put it in the tent with the flood bulbs. The 5th head has 20w 6000k led. real low
But that trash 5 head snake light with the leds puts in work though.
You can see where the colas are definately stacking in the spotlights quicker than under all the other light. Now it could be the combo overlapping making more useable light in those areas. But it sure looks a chit ton brighter than those more expensive leds around it. Look at the back where the 5 head is compared to the hlg QBs and purple led across the rest of it.
Didn’t mean to blow the thread with flower pic but point is you can definately make a $9 head and these bulbs rock that place.
