Hello all. I saw the introduction section so thought it polite to say hi. Like most, I find my self here in search of the ways to not mess up my grow. So a thanks in advance to everyone who takes their time to read or contribute to the site. Here is my question. I'll follow it with a short synopsis of the grow.
Is it normal for a plant midway through flower start lollipping it self from bottom up? My plants are dropping sun and shade leaves fast.
I currently am in my first grow and learning a lot but it did not go as I had predicted. I'm currently starting my fifth week of flower of an organic soil grow with two gorilla glues autos that I started in the same pot. Right? What could go wrong there. One plant is a taller faster pheno right out of the gate. So LST was in my repertoire. 5 or 6 weeks the fast pheno started to yellow really bad, this is about one or two weeks after pistils showed. Soil did not last through the grow like I foolishly thought. So I grab whatever home depot organic squirt nutes because this was supposed to be a simple outdoor brain dead grow with zero maintenance. My fantasy side of me knew nothing of the science side of nutes and fertilizer and of course wanted a magical no nutes grow with fortified organic soil. Weed gods giggled I'm sure. I'm also thinking now that organics maybe not good for a quick remedy because they seem more time released. It feels like I've been playing catch up trying to fix an N problem on the onset of flower. I'm sure there were more issues. I'm sure some of it is normal but it just seemed fast. Anyway, now it's dropping enough to see a trend into lollipops. My next grow is slightly more planned out with one plant to a pot. I figure that alone will simplify things quite a bit. Here's a current pic from today. The second plant looks two weeks behind but flowered very close in time. Day 63, 35 days of flower.
