Hi welcome to the farm hope you enjoy the site, looks good to me but it’s better to post pics in natural light not you led light can’t tell if anything is wrong , what’s you grow details fill us in on it . Regards Od .

Wadduo OD, so currently I'm just using the Heavy 16 line with some cal mag extra from AN. Keeping PH around 6.2-6.4. 1200 watt LED lights full spectrum bestva. What would be the best way to take a picture of the plants? During the lights on or right before the lights turn on? There on 18/6 cycle right now.

Hi if you get the bags up off the tent floor will help with drainage creat a air gap under them
warmer dryer roots aids in plant health . Keep on growing

Does it make sense to feed just water and cal mag during the 4th feed or not? My buddies telling me don't add anything but ph water and cal mag, idk if he's messing with me or not? Has anyone ever done this? Thank you

These guys and their led photo preferences lol. I run "blurple" leds, very expensive blurples I'm proud of them and I love them. I don't mind the pink, you get used to it. Lol You're plant looks good. I wouldn't interrupt the light cycle for a more acceptable picture. I troubleshoot my own problems for the most part for that very reason.

A good pair of green lense safety glasses will filter most of that out, yellow glasses will give you red pictures... If you need pictures you can post.

Have a look around for your nutrient manufacturers feeding schedules. I try to feed every time, balanced nutrient, increasing incrementally over time towards a peak ppm/EC in flower. Less is more, balanced is better. 😉

I appreciate the advise doc. This being my first time I just wanted a couple different opinions and do some research myself and blend that info all together. Is it unorthodox to just feed them water and cal mag after the first few feeds? The feeding chart shows keep on going with nutes, buddy says skip nutes this feed. Just confused, thanks for the help.

Yes it makes sense imo. I'm only on my first real dirt grow but I feed feed water. It just keeps you from getting a build up of nutrients in the media and over fed.

Your plants look good and there is no hard set rule on this. How much your feeding and environment will have an effect on this but I think they look well fed and a water with cal mag should be good

There is more experience by far on this website I'm sure. (Not banging my own drum... I'm new in the big picture here.) I would take your buddies advice with a grain of salt... (Fertilizer 🤣🤣)

Your plant needs to eat!

@Dr.B Nope I agree with you... If you can dial your feed in its best I feel to feed every time... If you feed to a decent runoff then that's the way to go because your a lot less likely to get a buildup. If not or if the plants looking a bit on the heavy side of nutes... Kinda like the OP throwing in a water only would be beneficial.

Imo there is no right answer and you have to go by the plants. What works for some may not for others because there are so many variables. But if you can get stuff dialed in then 100% feed every time and that would be the goal.

Damn, im honestly pretty happy I joined this forum. Getting a lot of different perspectives and ideas. Thanks for the help, now time to research. Also any ideas on how to equal out the pressure in my tent? Currently its negative pressure with a 6inch fan, just bought a 4 inch duct fan hoping that'll reduce some pressure.

That's so true! I don't even share the finer details of my watering style here as its so controversial 🤣🤣🤣 lol. It works for me in peat, I'm content to troubleshoot and fine tune it as necessary... Not textbook! That's for damn sure...

To each their own. Experimentation leads to innovation, discovery and yes, sometimes complete disaster.
