Good afternoon. My name is Tom and I was recently (March) diagnosed with squamous cell cancer of the larynx with an HPV component.(P-16)
I am 68 and a moderate user since Viet Nam. Most recently a two hit bowl in the evening for sleep, this prior to c diagnosis.
I had surgery on May 6. I also applied for a PA mj card and bought my first RSO . 72.8%THC.
I dosed, as directed, getting to a gram a day in 36 days. I continued consuming for the next 23 days. It started suppressing my appitite at about 15 days but I was getting by on 1800 calories a day and kept going. The big problem started when I changed batches of the same product. This batch was 79%. I did it for 1 day then a dose last Thursday and could go no farther. I am sitting here writing this more than 5 days later, still feeling bad. I experienced every symptom of a THC overdose and they were not mild, including being curled up in a ball crying, sweating, cold, hot, shaking, confusion, fear etc. I am much better today but still feeling it.

My plan is to regain stability and utilize the mehods I learned here.
Thanks for reading and I am all for positive, constructive feedback and conversation.

Hi, Tom. Sorry to hear about your news and I wish it was under different circumstances as to why you're here.

I recommend trying straight ole flower. I'm not exactly sure what "RSO" but it sounds like some form of concentrate. The 78% gave that away. Anyway, PA now has flower available. Maybe you should give that a try. It's usually in the area of 20% and all you would need is a couple pulls. I've had friends and family with similar diagnosis and it's helped all of them tremendously. I should also mention, that out of thethree , they're here among us.

This is a great place with very nice people who just LOVE to grow this sacred herb. I'm certain you'll get some positive feedback.

Stay strong, Tom.
