Hi there!

41 year old grower in Missouri- US. I have been in the agriculture/horticulture field for the last 11 years. Operated a 1.5 acre produce farm for 8 years, cultivated gourmet mushrooms and ran a 6700 sq ft hydroponic NFT lettuce greenhouse. I just started cultivating cannabis a little over a year ago. I have a lot of knowledge base around horticulture and hope to learn more about growing cannabis from everyone.

I have been growing in soil, but am getting ready to experiment with hydro nutes and coir. Eventually, I may switch it all over to dwc. I like the control of hydro for indoor growing. I can also purchase some dry fertilizer for a fraction of the cost and have spreadsheets already made to calculate ppms for each chemical element provided based off multi-part fertilizers. I have been scouring the internet for studies on optimal hydroponic nutrient feed rates for cannabis and am hoping to learn from everyone’s hands on experience. From what I recently read, potassium rates can vary significantly from one cultivar to the next. I will probably start off with Jack’s 321 even though the phosphorus rate looks higher than optimal and nitrogen a bit lower.

welcome to the farm and looking forward to see what ya got going. Jacks 321 is very similar to Mega Crop and it does beautiful work. I would suggest to look into rockwool with uni-slabs instead unless, you are planning on growing multi-strains. Less headache, cleaning and equipment's needed for rw imo
