I’m new to the group and want to thank everyone ahead of time for any help or suggestions. I am a new grower and I have a newby question. I am currently growing a Blue Dream strain and I purchased feminized seeds from a reputable company in Amsterdam. All of my plants thus far are appearing to be doing well. I have them in Fox farm ocean forest in 3 gal smart pots. They are in a vivosun 4X4 grow tent with a 600 -watt HPS. All of this is accompanied by a 6 inch charcoal filter and 40 inch tower fan. Now the question is…as per the pics all of the plants all look the same except for the one that isn’t as full and quite lean. Did this plant turn into a Hermie? Is it too early to tell? The seedlings are too young to tell but I was just wondering bc it looks different. Also they are all at exactly 2 weeks to the day when the pictures were taken. Any explanations would be greatly appreciated

Water the pots fully then give a good dry cycle. When the pot feel light then water.

It will be noticeably lightly so if your not sure wait

Well…they’re not just in veg just yet. Another week and they will be but for right now yes. I have them under a 600w HPS. I have a 1000w HPS bulb I will be switching out later on.

Thank you for the advice but yes I agree they’re too young but I was just curious bc it’s looking different than the other ones.

Normally you use HPS when flowering.
For veg you typically use Metal Halide.
I'd use a 400w.

Those plants are in veg, unless some propeller head has officially announced a new stage of growth.

Maybe you're confusing veg with flowering? I would wait a while to flower them so they get healthy and improve yield.

The lights and ballast were a gift so that’s all I have and I live in a very remote area of the country making it very difficult to obtain bulbs. But thank you for the tip

The 600 is probably enaugh even for you flower it depends how far you have the bulb how many plants you have and the area that needs to be lit up.

After all 400w is not a small change on you light/electricity bill

But from the pictures they look lovely.
4x4 if its full of plants it needs 1k but eany thing else the 600 will be enaugh
