Planning way ahead of time but am hoping to go to New Zealand next year.
Seasons are opposite so jan. feb are good months to go down under.
Been there 12 times, back when I was a drunk, all we did was mostly drink, so it will be nice to get down there and fly fish like crazy.
Can't wait to visit my friends sheep farm in the Hawkes Bay region on the north island, the most beautiful Farm I've ever seen.Endless rolling green pastures with thousands of sheep.
Was hesitant cause I might be tempted to pour a few down ,but now I think I can go without the temptation to guzzle em down.
Thinking a month would be best. Start in the north, nice beaches and end up in the south, fiord land, the alps, truly the most incredible place in the world.
One time hiked to Routeburn trek in the southern mountains in July, winter went 5 days without seeing a soul.
I could easily write a book about our adventures Down under, awesome people, beautiful country...
Hoping this dream comes true.....
