Hi everyone,
I am starting my first grow with 15 plants in an 10 x 15 basement room. I have a few questions, the basement is unfinished and all the wood is exposed, including the floor joists and support beams. I have included a pic to show the wood that is exposed.
The question I have is with all that exposed wood, should I paint it with Kilz mildew resistant primer, sheet rock everything or panda film everything to prevent the humidity and moisture from rotting the wood and cause structural damage? Will the gaps between the floor joists trap warm moist air? I am worried that all the humidity and moisture will cause mold and structural damage to all the exposed wood. I will be using the flo n grow hydroponics system by titan controls.
Another question I have is the ceiling height is only 7 feet, will I get decent yields from the low ceiling height? Anyone have good experiences with flo n grow hydroponics system by Titan controls?
Any advice or help is greatly appreciated,
Thank you
