Advice on clay pebbles cleaning them as far as removing roots?

bleach and water or h202 and water... rinse with plain water 3 times to remove all bleach/h202

I also boil the hydroton for ten minutes after I remove as much root matter by rinsing.

Well either you aint using much hydroton, or you got one hell of a witches brew kettle :)

well, I have six 8" net pots, but I'm switching to 6" net pots so I'm currently using less than one 40lb bag for everything.

Thats still quite a bit... Im using about double that... I used my bathtub last time but it broke my back cleaning the tub afterwards.. I didnt like it... Im gonna get a 55 gal drum to clean them in...

Never cleaned clay pebbles but I imagine a plastic kiddie pool and a pressure washer would work.

I don't have anywhere near that many, I only have six 8-inch net pots worth, easy to boil in a big pot
