Set up: 4x4x72, 6" 440cfm exhaust w/ carbon, 4" intake currently pulling from outside, 1000w LED. Setup is in old pre 1920s basement. I'm located in the Midwest. Ok guys, I somewhat am getting familiar with the basics so I apologize if I sound dumb. My main concern is when summer hits (very hot and humid outside) will I be able to just pull air from inside of my old basement (with fans to keep air moving around outside of tent) which probably doesn't have the cleanest air? Should I pull from the outside and tap a line into an ac duct? Being that my intake and exhaust house are relatively short I'm guessing I'll be pulling some pretty hot and humid air come June July August where temps are 90+ with high humidity. I have a decent size portable air purifier I could run as well. Inline 100cfm fan on it's way as well as temp and humid regulatory outlets. If I could just pull air from my basement it would solve most of my concerns. Pics are before and after of small corner I blocked off and framed in for tent. Thanks in advance

i think by mid summer you will have mold growing under the plastic, just saying,,in that old of house,if there isnt already mold on brick, your getting enough good air and ground is cooling and heating proper,so the temps would be a concern,i would buy the foam board from home depot and close off the area as you have there, dont restrict any air you feel coming from walls, put the board up on the white side out,it will keep cool for a ac if you want, same with heat, but dont restrict the fresh air input, also with the white side out,if you expand, using the tent for flower all vegging and cloning and such can be done outside the tent,if you do try to seal the room you will need the co2 from outside air for sure

Ok. I guess I didn't consider that with the plastic. I'm from New Mexico so this basement and humidity stuff is new to me. I'm slowly working on getting everything framed up for walls. I have the house to myself and own it and could put it anywhere such as spare bedroom I just thought it would be easier to exaust and keep it extra hidden in this giant basement. Thanks for your thoughts
