This is my first grow and this particular plant is confusing me. I'm in about 6 weeks veg. Starting to take out males. This one has some obvious pistils that are growing white hairs. But I also found these on one spot on my plant. All other pistils on this plant are much smaller and obviously female. These are much bigger with no white hairs. I assume it's balls or hermed... Just want professional opinion before chunking it!!! Thank you so much!
(Last pic is a pistil from same plant)

Aqua Man, sorry to bother you again. I was just wondering, do calyx/pistils on the same plant usually all look alike? I found another plant that has one set of them that look completely different than others of the same plant. Just making sure this is normal... I would rather discard than take a chance of ruining my harvest. First grow and trying to do it perfect... THANK YOU!!!!!

Have some pics? Usually males will be pretty easy to see before any risk of pollination.

+1 Aquaman. Males show preflowers before Females by at least 2 weeks, so you'll have plenty of advanced notice. Hard to miss. Also, "trying to do it perfect", find me a "perfect" grower and I'll show you a liar.

Give it 48-72 hours. You should see the almighty hairs.

Be careful. Unless you are intentionally are trying to create balls on a feminin plant, be on guard for hermaphrodite balls. They don't normally appear to be like male pollen balls. Normally you will find them a bud/flower, and will be yellowish in color.

Depending on how long your going to veg you can clone a stem and flip it.
Here is some picks of females i reversed the round growth is balls. On your plants your looking in the right place but you usually don't see the sign of sex until 1-2 weeks after you change your light cycle.
