Hi Folks,

From germination to current photo my plant is about 8 weeks with the following comments:
1) 3ft x 3ft tent
2) 120W true output LED lamp with full spectrum light
3) Hydro drip irrigation in a 15L bucket on constant flow for oxygenation if nothing else
4) water changes every two weeks including nutrient replenishment and ph checks twice a week.
5) topping occurred after about 4 weeks and undergrowth pruning/lollipopping has commenced.
6) general pruning has been occurring twice weekly to avoid too much stress.
7) She has just been switched from a 24/0 light cycle to 12/12 to promote flowering.

I got the seed from a really nice ounce of weed and she is looking really healthy and going from strength to strength. I.e didn’t buy the seeds.

Any hot tips from here on in as I don’t want to stuff it up?

I live in a temperate climate where humidity is quite low and coming into spring so from that perspective I’m not too concerned.

I don’t run any extraction equipment or CO2 as I’m a newbie and not really concerned about smell but I do have a fan running 24/7 for air circulation.

Any hot tips from here on in to maximise yield and reduce risk of bud rot etc?

She was quite thirsty a couple weeks ago and consuming a lot of water before a major prune and there was condensation in the tent.

Not looking to upgrade equipment at this stage as I’m quite green. Pardon the pun

Cheers

I wouldnt use 24/0 for photoperiods. Its pretty small after 2 months because of that I think, especially DWC.
Seems like u know what u r doing, plant looks healthy but plant will still be bigger even after u switch, so prepare for that. Maybe u could apply scrog, not sure whats the coverage of your led in flower, usually smaller than during veg.

Hey it looks good. I guess your counting on it being a fem. 50/50 at this point. as others have said your light is a bit small for big hard buds and it won't have much in the way of penetration power to lower buds but I have seen a nice plant grown with less so in your bucket who knows? There must be a pro on here somewhere that can help. GL

Current photo. She’s going through a growth spurt with the change in light regime. Having to tie her down to the bucket as I don’t have a separate resovoir and a net is just too much effort when it comes to water changes/top ups given she is thirsty and ph levels are changing rapidly. Thanks for the advice.

Looks like I have an Indica and based on reading won’t double in height like a sativa? Correct?

She’s really taking off. Might buy another lamp to ramp up the lumens and light spread to get a good outcome. Also running some clones in the bottom corner that I want to plant outdoors coming into spring. Any hot tips on transitioning those from indoors to outdoors? Do I need to get them out ASAP and plant given the change in light cycle?

Cheers

I'd get your plants well established with good root development before putting them out. Young plants are fragile and can get damaged easily outdoors. Your in no hurry if you're just moving into Spring now. Let them grow a bit and put them out around 1 month old.

Make sure you have enough hours of daylight to keep them in veg when you put them out! You don’t need to have them go into flour a week after you put them out. Putting them out too early in the year and having them go in the flower and then having to go through a revege is one of the biggest mistakes you can make in my opinion. Better to err on the side of caution.
