Its feminized seed from ILGM. I'm assuming it's the dutchpassion version not the kyle kushman cuz I've heard it's nearly impossible to get the the Kushman version in seed but not sure. They were pricier than most companies but I've heard they have good seeds & guarantee germanation or money back.Where did you get the strawberry cough from?
I just looked at the ILGM page & its says 80/20 sativa/indica. All the other seed sites say 70/30 so maybe it's not Dutch passions. Either that or they got their info wrong. I'm actually hoping its 70/30 tho since I only have the 250 watt hps. I dont know much much about growing but a friend of mine told me yrs ago that you need higher wattage lights to grow sativas. That's why I was wondering if I should grow 2 plants instead of 4. Also I was considering getting a hortilux hps bulb. Its $80 for the bulb but it says it offers more spectrum than regular hps bulbs. Its feminized seed from ILGM. 2 small plants is ok for 250w hps. This grow will be my 2nd indoor grow ever. I'm growing strawberry cough under a 250 watt hps light. I live in northeastern U.S. & the set up is in my garage which isnt well insulated. The cough is a 70/30 sativa/indica which I've read likes warm tropical temps & lots of light. Right now highs are averaging 70s with low in the 60s but warming up. Should I veg 24/0 for now for temps & should I be using MH to veg or start off with HPS? Also recommendations from breeders say indoor is best with green house so is 250 watts hps gonna be enough for this strain? I was gonna do four 3 gal.fabric pots under the light. Being that this plant likes alot of light should I stick with 2 or 3 pots instead? I know these are very dumb questions but I gotta ask cuz as I said this is still pretty new to me. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Ok,the pots are 3 gal.pots so the plants will be small. That's the only reason I was considering doing four plants but I figured if this particular strain requires lots of light maybe four was too much. Last year I did four in the the 3 gal.pots. 2 girl scout cookies & 2 hindu kush & it was a little crowded.2 small plants is ok for 250w hps.
You could do 4 very small plant. Grow 20 days from sprout and flip when they are 6-8" tall.Ok,the pots are 3 gal.pots so the plants will be small. This is rough estimate but it's about 3'x2'x4'. The height might be a little more. How large is your space?
I am currently running 4 plants under a 315W CMH, they love it. I would definitely not run any more than 4.
For your Light I would play it safe at 2-3 plants.
The ballast is switchable so I could do MH for veg if that makes a big difference. How large is your space?

Bringing them inside would make the spidermites very happy. New worlds to conquer.Ive got 5 fem seeds to work with. Since the consensus seems to be 2 or 3 plants with this light if they all pop maybe I'll throw the other 2 outside. I know sativas usually need more time for flowering but it says flowering time is only 9 wks. Also I could bring plants inside if it gets a little cold since it likes warm temps since they're only 3 gal pots.

Lol,didnt really consider that.Bringing them inside would make the spidermites very happy. New worlds to conquer.
