Just wanted to say hello . I grew 6 plants a while ago and needless to say it was a complete experiment . I now decided to grow a seed I found in my drawer . Used fox farms soil and this 3 week old after she came up out of the dirt is beautiful . Any suggestions ? I water her once every 2 days . Sunlight all day (Southern California) and light array set at night . I keep her lighted almost all the time . Now what should I be looking for . She is an auto flower .

Not feed it huh must be a fair bit in the soil.
To much light would show differently.
I doubt you’ll get to much light outside anyway.
18/6 is fine to veg.
It wouldn’t flower until the lights less than 11hrs a day unless it’s a automatic
Wouldn’t think it was if you found it in bagseed.

I’d let it get bigger before flowering

It does look happy

Oh I forgot . Sunlight all day and at night she is under my light array . She doesn’t get darkness . I was told darkness would make her flower . Again totally new at this . Thanks

Got a bit more time on my hands
Smoking one before I start transplanting.

Yes darkness would make her flower however it would need to be a min of 10.5/11 hrs of darkness straight.

Normally when we want to induce flowering we will change the lights to 12/12

A 16/8 light schedule will still see them stay vegetable state.

So you’ve not added anything food wise huh.
How long has she been in veg
Normally soil has only 3/4 weeks of food.

Lst doesn’t require cutting leaves of ( I see a scissor in the pic ) catching leaves office called defoliation and I really don’t suggest you do as your plant isn’t bushy or in need of it.

Lst techniques vary
Some will start at birth & heavily tie branches down ; it doesn’t always yeild more especially in the same time frame. In the same timeframe heavy lst would decrease the yield.
Agreed if vegetation is longer than heavy lst would increase yeild but that’s advanced stuff

Stick with the basics till you don’t need to ask you just know instinctively because of your past experiences what works and what doesn’t.

At the age your plant looks
Light lst like tieing the top down won’t hurt & would increase lower bud sites.

How old is she I’m really surprised it’s so dark unless they add a load of n in to the soil or genetics.

I have heard ocean has a fair bit of food in it tbh I think the strains probably darker normally
Shame you don’t know what it is.

Growing really well your doing real good

Oh btw now I finished translating I was mulling over your thread as your plants outside i wouldn’t worry about light schedule.

It’s gonna be massive by the time the weather changes for it to flower naturally

I don’t know the pot size, but make sure there’s enough room for the roots to grow if there’s not just transplant it into another bigger pot

You got this mr green thumb

He said it was an auto flower! Just keep doing what you’re doing minus the stress and let her take her lead! It should start flowering pretty soon! Just two cents!

Looks like you got some fire bud coming man, congratulations. In your climate I wouldn't worry much about her, that's gonna be great.

When I have had too few plants to worry about I tend to worry way too much about the few that I have. Just a couple of sideprojects like a couple of autos in milk cartons or whatever helps me to stay on point so I always do a few extra and I get some extra smoke.

Oh I re read & your right it is a auto lol
For some reason I thought it was a bagseed
Maybe I got my threads mixed up
Anyways Thanks for pointing that out bud

In that case she will start flowering on her own accord as automatics flower by age not light cycle

Well, at least the OP says it’s an auto! He or she is pretty green! So who knows! We should find out soon! You provided a lot of information on photos that will come in handy later!
