Hello all. New guy here, living in Bogota, South America. The temp here stays between 60 at night to 80ish during the day. It’s legal to grow here and my ? Is I have one small plant with 6-8 tiny leaves. It’s in a 5” peat pot. I water lightly with purified rice water at 7am. Around 2, the top is dry. I bring it on my patio at dark each night because it’s the rainy season and I don’t want to drown it. How often should I water ? I read only once in the early morning. I’m getting ready to create a greenhouse, shortly. Thank you, sorry so long

water by weight is what i was taught. Weigh a pot of dry soil mark it then fully saturate it and mark the wet weight and when the pot weighs close to the dry weight water. Should feel like your picking up styrofoam when ready for feeding

I would also think about adding some aeration to the soil like perlite when your ready to repot will help with wet/dry cycle

I would definitely add perlite or something to aerate the soil. It looks very dark and loamy. One you feel the dampness is down and inch from the top of the soil, then give it a few squirts!
Good luck!

Thank you. I watered it late before dark, I’m guessing this is why it looks dark. Good info
