Hey, @Newty, thanks for the thread. I've been thinking about getting one of these. I like new tech, but I'm not sure I need one for any of my small tents. I'm thinking these are intended to be used with larger tents.

I was thinking the same thing, I'm running it in a 8x4 currently.
You can use 2 sensor probes and use dual zone and control 2 different tents with 1 controller though so it may be beneficial if running 2 smaller tents.

I never planned on owning one, just happened to win a photo contest.

Now I want the co2 and light sensor to see what that's all about but they're sold out and no pre order available.

I know this is coming out of my ass but I “think” you could really dial multiple tents together using this AI controller. I have such a dynamic exhaust and fan set up with my shed I would love to try this unit out!

It gives you the option when you set it up for the first time.
It sounds like you are under beginner mode, doesn't give as much control.

Here is the screenshot from the setup where it asks what mode you want.

I am still figuring this out. For the last couple of weeks I have been using the AI mode, which I custimize the temperature and humidity (if I go with VPD the heater does not work) but I have to do that manually every night at 02:00 and every morning at 08:00 (running a 18/6 schedule).

Today I finally had time to try out some automations instead. While this is exactly what I needed (set time, temp and humidity for a period of time), it is not possible to set parameters for seperate devices. I need the inline fan running 24/7 at minimal speed 3 to get rid off the smell. You can adjust this parameter but it will be set for every device, so now my heater is also 24/7 on at a minimal setting of three...

If I could only set schedules with the AI+ mode my problem would be solved, however this does not seem possible?

that doesnt seem right (definitely frustrating). Im running the 69 pro (not sure if it’s the + or not it does have wifi) I just set everything to auto lol! but I only have fans plugged in at this point to pull cool air from outside or to exhaust my flower room into the veg room. so far so good. I was more commenting to bump this thread! : ) the controllers are awesome but man if you are anything like me with tech it can get very frustrating quickly lol!

I had to roll back to the AI+ mode. With the heater constant on level 3 the room was heating up to fast.

Is your heater the ACI forge? Does it have connectivity to the controller?

I have a couple of the ACI smart plugs that have come in handy. Sorry im doing coffee hanging out with my 4 year old this morning lol. Do you have a thread with your entire setup I can see and I’ll quit asking you dumb questions lol!

Yes, it is the thermoforge t3, awesome piece of kit to get your growtent nice and warm. I use all of the ACI equipment through the AI+ controller with the UIS connectivity. This gives you a more precise control versus the on or off switch with the ACI smart plugs.

Currently using the following:

Since I am using a Mars Hydro fc4800 evo, I tried to connect it with the ACI converter plug to the controller, but you can set your light only with 10 levels. So I disconnected the light from the controller and run it through the Mars Hydro app currently. Gives me more precise control compared to the AI+. I suspect this will be different when using a ACI mainlight.

Good morning guys. Anybody run into an issue with the firmware update for the AI controllers yesterday? My ventilation was on full blast and I lost control of the controller. I disconnected the ventilation from the controller, but I have no idea what's going on in that tent right now.

Anyone have a problem with their circulating fans? Mine stopped circulating once I switched to the ai controller. I’m sure it’s just a setting but I can’t find it anywhere.

is it identified correctly in the app? One of mine is identified as ventilation. I've seen other posts about it.

I've had trouble with updates for my non-AI controllers. I like AC Infinity's innovations and technology, but their quality control is poor sometimes. For example, the heater I bought last year came with a cable that didn't fit. I had to order a cable from Amazon. It's amazing no one checked to see if all the parts in the box fit. I just complained to them about how the WiFi settings weren't saved after a power outage. I had to reconnect every controller. It's not difficult to do, but it's annoying to have to do it. All the other settings were saved, so the controllers' other functions were saved and restored when the power came back on--just no WiFi.

I think so. It says circulation. Maybe my exhaust and circulation fan are swapped I’ll check that.

It's silly to put pictures on the app screen. Like I need a picture to know what a heater is. If I ever get one of those controllers, I might write a request for an option to suppress the images. They're a waste of screen space. The ACI R&D folks must be thinking that as intelligence becomes more artificial, human intelligence will become less important.
