I got the notification of mandatory firmware update. Updated the app, then updated the firmware......I think, maybe. Still have the notice to update firmware but then in settings it says firmware is up-to-date Version: F12.4.27

Good morning guys. Anybody run into an issue with the firmware update for the AI controllers yesterday? My ventilation was on full blast and I lost control of the controller. I disconnected the ventilation from the controller, but I have no idea what's going on in that tent right now.

Just to update. I disconnected all devices including power and reconnected and everything came back. I updated the firmware just fine, but need to re configure my AI.

that must be normal, mine is the same.

Just updated the app, after that the firmware. Thought that everything was working properly, until reading about the circulation fans. Just checked the growcam and indeed, the fan was spinning but not oscilating anymore. Went into the menu and discovered you have more fan settings now, but you manually need to turn it on. I can now select dynamic wind, cool to try out:

Yes i have no new functions and won’t connect directly to WiFi only Bluetooth i was up all night schedule not working as well 5a.m nothing was active

Yes something is very wrong with there update my humidifier will not run with computer ai says it's running but nothing i have to use old way run it on its on probe to work before update everything was just fine

Did you get back to work again or not?

In system settings you can select "Revert Firmware" which works, but then you can't start the app again until you do the update??? I wonder if ACI is aware that their update is causing so many problems.

Did you updated the app before updating the firmware of the controller?

I must not have. I decided to start over from scratch.

After I deleted the controller from the app I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Then while signing back into the app I saw where you update the app. Then I added the AI controller back to the app and it was indeed the new updated version.

Everything is back to normal now.

PSA: first update the app, after that update the controller. Do check your fans if they are stille osscilating, if not turn the option on again through AI > Advanced mode > Device settings

Something else to consider, I would like to have 2 different AI+ profiles, one for during the day. The other for during the night since I want to keep the VPD at 1.0 at night. Currently I am still adjusting this every night and morning. Anyone using this the same way or perhaps have a better solution?

I have a spare model69 it is a backup but have only tested it out, I am not using it. I did play a little around with the automations on the AI+, which are similar to the automations of the model69. AI+ does indeed a better job if I compare them. Smaller deviations and more steady IMHO.

Can you set two different temps/humidity voor both tents or does it have to be the same?

My simple mind thinks it will be easier to keep stuff in line with two separate unites rather than one not saying I wont get the 69 and then not like doing the two separate and end up getting the Ai version! another face palm i know hahah!

Im using my main 5*5 all ai temp n vpd then i have my 4*4 using it's own humidifier for the vpd i keep my temp 70-75 for all stages i have co2 pumped into intake tent both intake run to intake tent n heat

I have a 69pro on my 4x4 & a pro+ on my 4x8, love them!
I'm all about keeping up with AI as it develops so's I don't
get completely left behind. It's just a tool tho and should be
treated as such. Trust but verify.
