I would make sure to buy an ACI light as well. I did not, bought two adapters, did not work and if it would work I could only set the light on 10 different positions (10%-20%-30% and so on). I use a Mars Hydro, and while the app appears to be shite it does work for me in terms of a precize percentage and timerfunction.Man these controller seem pretty nice! I still haven’t even gotten around to the controller 69’s yet (I may soon will they go on sale now that these are out lol)
Was looking at that environments control setting to adjust light time bu outside factors by +/-1 min a day, I wonder would that eventually screw up photoperiods? If it kept drifting a minute a day?
Really like my 69 pro. I can set it and forget it for fiddle all day long. And change things on the fly! (Within reason) like I’m not changing the temp to my heater and stuff like that. But worth it. And getting a fan setup with them for a few hundy ain’t bad eitherMan these controller seem pretty nice! I run model 69s in both of my 2x4s. One with a evo 3 and the other has 2 s22. I really like being able to control the lights from the controller. My 5x5 has a luxx 645 and you can only use a uis plug to control it. So I still use a mechanical timer.I would make sure to buy an ACI light as well. I do have two sets ACI Ionbeams for undercanopy lightning and both sets are "one" light according to the controller, and these also have only 10 levels to set. Less fancy then I thought it would be, unfortunately.
I shut off the light adjustment based on outside climate, I want my lights on while I'm awake so I shut that off so it stays at my scheduled time.Man these controller seem pretty nice! just take care of you! : ) the farm is here and the weed isn’t going anywhere : )Sorry again
I feel really bad, I'm usually very active..... Everytime I think I'm getting better, right back to feeling crappy a day later.....
Back to work tomorrow, let's see how that goes......
I will go back and read up and see what I can answer, truly am sorry.....
Just preorder a Soil Meter Sensor for the AI+, this is going to be a game changer!!!!!
Only thing that sucks is the AI+ only has 2 sensor ports, I'm using 1 for the normal temp/humidity probe and the other for the co2/light sensor. I'll have to ditch the co2 sensor for the soil moisture meter.
Wish I could use both but soil moisture is way more important IMO.
You can have self watering systems activate through the AI+ based on the Soil Moisture reading.

By self watering, I assume you aren't referring to the rope buckets. What system works with ACI AI Controllers?Sorry again

You can set minimums for individual devices so the fan only runs 24/7, I have mine run 24/7.Today I finally had time to try out some automations instead. While this is exactly what I needed (set time, temp and humidity for a period of time), it is not possible to set parameters for seperate devices. I need the inline fan running 24/7 at minimal speed 3 to get rid off the smell. You can adjust this parameter but it will be set for every device, so now my heater is also 24/7 on at a minimal setting of three...
I don't power down my Controller when I add equipment, I plug in all the UIS stuff and the equipment to outlet last. It always reverts it to off anyways and never an issue doing it this way with any of their controllers. Is anyone having network problems with their AI controllers? I've been setting up a new tent and gradually adding equipment and getting a feel for the controller. I've noticed that when I power down the controller it reconnects with a different mac address. I've never had this issue with my 69 pro or 79. It's preventing me from turning on "access control" on my router.
I just unplug it when I'm moving things around before I start a new grow. I live in an area that has frequent power outages and it takes about 30 seconds for my generator to power the house back up. I know the settings will be maintained but I'll have to go back into my router to reconnect it to wifi.I don't power down my Controller when I add equipment, I plug in all the UIS stuff and the equipment to outlet last. I just always let my other equipment run (except humidifiers) while I setup new.
I'm curious though so I'll try powering down my controller and see what happens.
They just had a recent firmware update, are you running F12.4.27?
I just updated mine, I've been skipping it for a bit because it deletes all previous settings when updating firmware so you have to setup everything again after an update.
I really hope that changes in the future, the Controller 69 saves a backup so idk why the AI+ wouldn't.
I hope this helps:You can set minimums for individual devices so the fan only runs 24/7, I have mine run 24/7.
See screen shot below.
Edit: I see you said Automations, post a shot of your Automations. You should be able to set each device to their own Automations individually so they don't have to share settings.

Make an automation for each piece of equipment separately instead of grouping them together, that way you can have different settings for each piece of equipment.I hope this helps:

Below you can see that is one min/max setting for all devices.

Should I make another automation without temp and humidity as a goal? I am losing sleep over this lol
Yes, it uses the same app as the 69s. Everything seems to function fine together in the appDoes this new controller run with the same phone app as the 69s? Does it play nicely with other controllers?
+1. You can add multiple devices in the app, already tried this with the 69pro and ai+.Yes, it uses the same app as the 69s. Everything seems to function fine together in the app
