Somehow the mother got distressed this summer and re-veged, the buds looked good but never developed fully - so I was really hoping these little guys would do better in the tent.
So far so good - they already smell better than the last gen. Fingers crossed - if they do really well, ill try to get some pollen from one of them for a cross breed of some kind.

Lookin/smelling good - I grew this strain outside this summer. It had some amazing physical characteristics - fast growing auto flowering, big sticky buds, tons of trichomes - but...it never developed a strong smell to it. Something caused it to flower twice - and it was kinda disappointing.
So i took these 4 clones to see if theyd do better inside - so far so good.

In the past Ive underestimated how much theyd still grow after cutting the light - end up with buds touching the lights (foxtail) or even above them. And with 4 in there doing well and likely to crowd eachother - I decided to cut the light 2 weeks early. With (around) 7 weeks of 12/12 these should be ready to harvest around the same time my outdoors are finishing up.
Thatll be 3 harvests in 1 season, not bad.

And less than a week later - theyre out of control. 4 at a time was too ambitious - had to remove 1 and put it outside. May be ok though, hard to say what the winter will be like this year. Maybe 7 weeks before our first frost in the NE?

1 week later - 8 weeks total since being cloned - 17 days flowering at 12/12.

looking good (crowded) but good. I learned some hard lessons about trimming my outdoor plants this season (too aggressive or too soon?) so Im scared to trim these guys back at all amd cause them to reveg - theyll just have to do their best. Im sure Ill get some decent buds from the parts getting good light.

9 weeks - Flowers are filling out and theyre smelling good - but lookin a little crispy in spots.
Pretty sure i know why - my humidity is on the low end but...im thinking it might be low CalMag as they flower?
Ive had issues over dosing calmag before - i dont think plants usually need more than what the fertilizers already contain. But ive also never grown this strain before, so i think ill try a single dose and see how it goes.

I don't think you want to dry you smoke in the tent with the light, heat, or the low humidity you described.

Nice job on those clones.

OK so...i re-read my other fertilizer directions again and it turns out im supposed to up the 2nd stage dose in the later weeks (which i hadnt done) so thats where my missing calmag went (if thats really the problem) Ill just adjust my future feeds and see if that helps before adding other products.

So, 10 weeks total from clone - 6 weeks at 12/12 and my speed grow is over. The quality is incredible, the amount is not. But i was prepared for that, i cut the lights early and it was definitely crowded - learned some good lessons. I Think 12 weeks for 2 plants is probably right - if i can figure out how/when to trim them.

Maybe because i took the clones when the mother was flowering - but they never really stopped the whole time. Just about every part of the plants are covered in trichomes, super sticky and skunky.

So i may just keep the best few top nugs and use the rest of it for bubble hash or something. I had a big outdoor harvest already.
