Next grow and a word

I’m dropping some dfg seeds in water tonight to kick on my next grow. I’ve taken more than a half year off from posting, uprooted and moved to an island, won an SE3000, been super busy with life lately. Moved into the new house two months ago, most of my stuff is boxed. no planned space yet… This thread will be evolving and a combo of indoor and outdoor I’d assume. I’ve got a lot to learn, therefore I need to get back active on here.

So earlier I dropped then damp paper towel bagged :
1x Zamal Dreams (fem)
2x Love Stash (reg)
4x Dragon Stash (reg)

1 Zamal, 1 Love, and 2 Dragons got put into solo cups earlier today in FFOF w/ added perlite. The remaining 3 should be ready by tomorrow.

I also have 2 random fem auto seeds kicking around from ‘holi moli’, a gg#4 and granddaddy purple, that I will start over the weekend for some quick turnaround. They were given to me, I’m not familiar with autos or that company. I hope they don’t throw me off too much, seems easy enough tho.

I’ll be doing this grow in FFOF + perlite because it’s what I know, for now. Up-potting with air pots. Not sure what nutrients yet, I got a bit before I’ll need it.
It’s not the most organized start at this stage, but that’ll sort itself out.

Also, I made some nice butter with 2 oz of trim I found while unpacking into the new place. Turned out real nice. Looking forward to a lazy river sorta 3 day weekend

4 of 7 seeds are up. 3 more in solos yet to break through.

Biked to the beach yesterday with our weekend visitors, and a family member just so happened to surprise me with a micro dose pill as we got set up on the sand. Lazy river weekend indeed 🏖

About 2 weeks from sprout. These have been very neglected. No tent, no environment controls. Just a light at 18/6 in an otherwise empty garage loft. I’ve spent about 5 minutes total in the past 10 days checking on them. And yet, they grow. Slow and steady, no worries.

Thanks for the follows. I’m excited to get back to this. Life picked up and I’ve had to pause so many things since last summer. I’m sure many can relate. I moved to a pretty small house, and have been struggling to figure out where to set up the grow, slash place to do my controls hobby.

I have a ~4’x4’ nook of my garages first floor that used to be the houses original outhouse. It’s was the first place we filled with boxes of stuff we didn’t need soon, and I rough measured before it was full but not sure of the exact numbers. My tent will either fit, or be within inches of being too big, I can’t remember. The garage is un-insulated and built in like the 1840s. The 2nd floor probably will soon be getting too hot, but that’s where the seedlings are now. On 2 stools in some monotubs under an SF1000 at about 60% at 12” give or take. There’s a window open upstairs, and the first floors floor has some large gaps to the outside. But I really should have a fan on them.

Im so excited to be growing Dragons Flame Genetics. I bought a 20 pack of dragons stash f2 regulars on his buy 1 get 3 free sale, and thought it was get 3 free seeds. I expected 23 seeds, maybe 1 seed each of choice. I got 3 free fking packs!! I was like whaaaaat?!:0:D

The strongest seedling is the only feminized seed. Zamal Dreams. So pumped.

Haha. A space might materialize as we unpack and organize. But I’m likely going to put them all outside once they’re a little bigger.

I do want to have the tent up to plug my computer into it tho, never had both running at the same time to connect the two. I broke the grow down before I got into the controller stuff last fall…

I ended up putting my 5 seedlings outside beginning of last week. Right after my last post I woke up to some wonky curly leaves on most and some spider web looking stringiness on 2 of them. They enjoy being outside very much.

I transferred the Zamal Dreams fem to a 3 gal fabric pot this morning so it wouldn’t cook with so little soil. The others will follow soon, but they are smaller and it was possible (barely) to keep the rootball together. We are going away for the weekend so I’ll up-pot the rest in another week depending on the weather.

The rest of the garden is doing well too. It’s all about salsa this year, and potatoes. Over the summer/fall we will build some raised beds, for now it’s fabric pots.

Next week I’ll up pot the GDP to a 5 gal, and up pot the 4 DFG to either 3 or 5 Gal.

Well, I cut the Zamal down last night, was looking pretty solid. Pretty large. Accidentally left it not trimmed enough in an area without enough ventilation for about 18 hours… whole thing got pretty moldy

I got 3 still DFG growing about a week behind, much smaller. I hope I can salvage something from them.

The random auto got moldy before harvest while I was away for a weekend about a month ago, had planned to cut it when I got back. I’ve been smoking what I can of it, not terrible, but I lost about half of it.

I think it’ll be a long while before I try outdoor growing again. Hopefully some time in the next few months I’ll be able to carve out a place where I can set up indoor again. Not very pleased with the climate and weather this year. I really miss my old indoor spot

Gonna be in the high 30s f tonight. One of the 3 moved inside (Dragons stash), and a lot of roots came up with it, repotted in a few inches in a bigger pot. Propped up, bent over to fit in my 4x4. I’ll leave the other two (Love Stash, Dragons Stash) outside and see how they do. I got my SE3000 at 40% for day 1 inside, 12/12. They’ve been in a bunch of shade.

Also, I inspected the Zamal with better clarity and lighting. I can salvage a lot still.

Zamal, moved in last weekend for a wind storm then outside again. It seemed by far the largest of them, but drying it looks tiny. I keep trimming as it hangs, I’ve not had much time per day to deal with the daily chores lately. But there’s a lot here
