Hey y’all, first(ish) time grower here. Overall my plants look great:

I give them compost tea (soil and foliar) — some combination of molasses, worm castings, kelp meal, and OG Biowar. There were dry nutes mixed into the soil when I mixed it before planting (all purpose organic dry fertilizer, worm castings, azomite, kelp meal). Other than these, I haven’t really fed them.

One day last week I sprayed them with worm casting and kelp meal tea. Since then, Many if my lower leaves have been yellowing and dying.

What do you guys think? They are just starting flowering too... could it be a nitrogen deficiency from the stretching? I would expect that with the kelp and worm castings there would be enough nitrogen though?

I have the exact same problem with my outdoor plants.

It's strange because the yellowing starts from the veins ... unlike a classic nitrogen deficiency.

Nitrogen deficiency usually starts from the bottom up..
Id probably buy some Peruvian Seabird Guano. 13-11-2,, and 0-11-0 and make a tea at a rate of 1.25 level tsp per gallon water in a tea in a mesh bag. Not Loose floating in a suspension, and 3/4 tsp 0-11-0 Seabird Guano in the same mesh container. Soak 12 hours
Kelp/Castings is great stuff, but doesn't supply enough Nitrogen.

You can also mix the Guano in the soil at a rate of 1-3 tsp per gallon soil. Id use 2 tsp 12-11-2 x 1 tsp 0-11-0 in veg, and 2 tsp 0-11-0 x 1 tsp 12-11-2 in flowering. Use every other watering.
Supplement with Kelp teas.
