Got a bottle today to replace my algen extract as it seems its getting good reviews on the far and the guy at my hydro store said it kicked algen extracts ass. Kind of confused on the different doses though...

the bottle says 5-10ml per quart which seems like a ton, id have to use the whole bottle in a day at that rate. The guy at the hydro store said 5-10ml per gallon which is better haha

So what dose do people use this at for...
adding to a res with my nutes? and what about as a foliar? any difference in rates for spraying clones versus bigger plants?

I know ML uses this hopefully he might chime in :) haha
thanks for the help everyone!

I use 1-2.5 ml per quart as a foliar. Greens them up nice.

Never tried it in any types of reservoirs. Have used it at 5ml/gal when soaking rockwool cubes for cloning. No adverse effects but no clear benefits (no constant)

Ive been told that you can use it as a foliar a day or two before taking cuts. It gets everything super amped and vigorous for the cut.

Nitrozime is awesome.. a bit pricey but well worth it IMO.

ML recommended to me along with a few other awesome growers on the Farm.

Make sure to pick up a penetrator/ saturator that helps to apply and stick the nitro to your plant tissue and stem.

I wasnt able to find the thermX70 at my local store So i just used a little bit of dish soap as the saturator/ pen.

Yo motherlode--

My plants are LOVING those Mycos, the granulated stuff is amazing and the Water Soluable is solid as well. I may be going COMPLETELY organic here soon-- completely cutting of my Synthetic Nutes.

Im VERY impressed so far.

Hope alls good with you Big Dog.

Kelp extract with some pro tek would make a suitable alternative for less money. Add in some Ful power and you'd have a kickass foliar spray.

I use it like this...

5ml in my normal soil feeding reg. and around 1ml in my foliar with some rosemary oil and fungicide.

I even use it in SMALL portions on my flowering ladies, they seem to dig it. I think im going to cut that out and use Liquid Karma instead though. Keep nitrozime as a foliar.

Virginia Tech did a study running Fossil Fuel (Humic acids) and Nitrozyme in a 5-2 ratio mixture, and the mix worked 50% better than each product individually. It also helps stretch the Nitrozyme a little farther cause that stuff is expensive.

That is quite exactly what I spray on my plants. And based on the description, I am not sure there is much more in there than what we are mixing ourselves MrBong.

Per quart I mix: 1/16 tsp cytoplus, 4-5ml FulPower, 1ml Silica, .25 ml SM90 or Dr Bronners Mint(5 drops).

I should add that I have experimented a ton with foliar feeding and I have never seen results like this.

"Nitrozime contains highly concentrated hormones extracted from the North Atlantic sea plant Ascophylum Dodsoum. Nitrozime is best used as a foliar spray to increase the hormone availability to its maximum. Nitrozime contains powerful natural growth enhancers, micro nutrients, and bio-stimulants that will stimulate the growth process of the plant. We recommend using either Nitrozyme or Spray & Grow in combination with Coco Wet on a weekly basis for optimum plant growth.

Use at the rate of 1-2 teaspoons per gallon."

It's KELP tea. Ful power is Fulvic acid (rich in iron) .. can buy these in dry form from NPK RAW. Since raw is dry and at full potency one little bag would make you 100's of gallons of Nitrozyme.

It's the first forums thread that comes up when you search for Nitrozyme. I figured it needed a touch up.

While we're at it, it was mentioned a 5:2 ratio Humic. That is for rootzone, not foliar. For foliar use kelp + fulvic + yucca/wetting agent. Afaik

Nitrozime is over priced. But i still buy it and use as a foliar only. With Ful power and yucca once a week. It makes for an extremely bushy compact plant that is setup for increased yields in flowering. Its the only additive i use besides Greenfuse root stimulator for cuttings after they strike.
