Gday everyone
Noob grower here and just wanting some advice on the light greening of the buds in pictures
Is that normal or maybe just what the strain does? Deficiency?

Thanks

Hey there, nice looking, strain dependent coloring probably. You can trim out some of the fan leaves on the bottom to increase your circulation. The more crowded inside the more chance of mold taking hold and we don't want that. Keep on keeping on ol Wolf

Whatever is happening here is slight, so I wouldn't do anything drastic.

IF (a big if!) it is an early indication of a deficiency, it would be an immobile nutrient, because it is appearing at the growing points. These problems are usually cause by the pH being off. So check your pH. If it's OK, make sure they're getting whatever micronutes and calcium they need in whatever you feed them.

I have a feeling doing nothing is your best course of action, other than checking pH, just in case.

Thanks man
I feel I've already taken a lot of leaves off throughout so I'm gonna leave most for now. I also sprat pure crop 1 every 3 days as a preventative for mould etc, I've seen the strain grown before and it looks very similar was just curious about those tips

Ok thanks
I noticed the nute burn on tips of leaves as I've been pushing it to see where it's at
I was more looking at the light green colour coming out on the top of colas if it was a deficiency or if it is just the strain. The guy I get these off only flowers for 8 weeks and cuts down for turnover whereas I'm keen to see what they could turn out like

When you feed, keep your pH down around 5.6

The green planet guide is recommending between 5.8 to 6.3

That is a general range. We are a bit more specific here.

If you feed your plants, then that is a form of hydroponics and the pH should be close to 5.5
When you grow organic, the soil auto adjusts the pH to 6.5 if it's amended properly.

Different grow mediums have different pH requirements because of the chemical interaction of their components.

Ok thanks mate that is great to know! I have never actually even looked at what the correct ph is supposed to be for coco. I just sort of thought keep around 6 going from gpn guide and should be ok.
So do you keep your ph 5.6 throughout entire grow or just for flower ? Are you in coco also?
Thanks again

We grow in organic soil. We don't even check pH anymore because our soil is amended to adjust it for us, and we don't feed. All we do is water, train and harvest. I have the soil amended to 6.4 and that's where it stays.
