What strain is it? Some strains are known to foxtail. If foxtail due to stress, try adjusting to save the buds. Other then fox tailing, it looks like you may have a manganese deficiency.

You need to elevate your lights as your canopy continues to grow. This distance can vary depending on the heat your light gives off. If you begin to notice any signs of bleaching, move your light higher up until the symptoms cease.

Place a hygrometer in your growing space. This will help you track and observe the temperature in your cultivation environment. When you see the heat rise above the recommended levels, get ready to slam on some fans to help to dissipate the hot air.

Check the pH of your soil to prevent nutrient lockout from occurring. Use a pH tester around once per week to make sure things are on track. You can use pH up and down products accordingly to remain in the sweet spot of 6.0-7.0.

Reduce the source of stress as much as possible, give them nutrients, to help them keep some quality Reposition your light, tend to the pH.

Good luck!

Hi thanks for that. It’s gelato I’m pretty much high as I can go regards light it’s around.
I’m not sure on checking ppfd I’ve been using an app but it’s reading different at certain areas which I understand it was at 1600 I’ve just moved the lights up as far as I can and dimmed them to about 900 but I’m not sure I’m doing it right?
As regards to fox tail I have no idea what that is or why it happened or if it’s a bad thing?
As for nutrients canna terra products ph consistent at 6
Temp about 22 now

Thanks

Your plant looks stressed which is why it is probably foxtailing like that.

You said you lowered your light output from 1600 to 900. 1600 what? PPFD? LUX? What app are you using? I'm guessing Photone and you're missing the diffuser?

As others have said, fox tailing, no this isn't really desirable to most and definitely not in this instance. Your buds are going to be long and whispy like a fox tail. How do the lower buds look compared to the higher ones? I am guessing the higher up on the plant the buds are, the more significant the fox tailing is?

Absolutely , 3 buds mainly all the lower ones and the ones outside the main light zone are fine.
Yes PPFD and yes phototone and yes missing diffuser
So how do I do that with paper ?

Thanks

Hey man, download the tent buddy app (this link is for android users) but it seems more accurate than photone. Iv used both. I like the tent buddy app better.

https://tent-buddy.en.softonic.com/android

Your plant is basically saying that youre giving it too much light. But i see a lot of spots on the leaves, and yellowing from the edges inwards.... probably some kind of deficiency? Calcium/magnesium?

Personally, i would cut the light by about 30-40% and see if that makes any difference. Shes in flower so i wouldnt wanna cut way too much, and the foxtailing could possibly be caused by other factors as well so just another reason not to over react on the lighting lol but worth trying a small change for a bit to see :)

Hope you get all the help you need dude! Im in the final stretch with ya!

Also my local shop said my temps were low looking at the pic, I was running low of 17 high off 22 now low of 20 high 25
I’m thinking that will stress her along with too much light not enough heat. Think it’s a case of dialing in on certain major factors I’ve got 3 in flower I will keep a close eye

You have some great photos
Are you growing in flood beds?
I’ve got one flowering similarly but my others are in 10ltr dwc pots I’m wondering if 10ltrs is a bit small the roots are really crammed in ! May also stress her just wondering if you have any experience with dwc grows ?
Thanks

Too much heat in your grow area directly around your colas and top sites is what causes that type of Foxtail. It’s 100% of stressed out plant. There’s plenty of genetics out there that have a tendency for Foxtel, but there’s a few telltale indicators here that show 100% that it’s a stress type deal one the break in the actual calyx growth, there’s bare spots. Also the development of the new white pistols

Thanks I’m a little confused now my tent sits around 22-23 it was 17-20
I have some evoponic liquid ice which I started a few days ago on advice from grow shop.
They said add the minimum at every change and monitor it.
I’m pretty sure I only have a few weeks left don’t want to do anything to drastic at this point.
I will take the little I have learned in the last 3 months and work on the 2nd
Thanks
Not sure I have the scrog net in the right place either not like big fat juicy toms

It can be caused by a few factors.
I would just run the coarse.

1600 PPFD is way overkill so I'm going to agree with @Captspaulding and say it was your lights.

Look up DLI(Daily Light Integral) to help you pinpoint the light energy you want to be giving your plants at every stage of growth.

Yea figured it was that, I used the paper diffuser and got it down.
But the DLI is low still I’m not sure really what I’m doing regarding light and I’ve only had the app a few days, I like figuring things out backwards maybe should have sorted that first.
I will keep it where I am now and hope for the best
I’m sure I will be back for more advice in the coming weeks

Our eyes just don’t read light like they do it was way to bright.
