I’m excited to do my first outdoor and legal grow. northern AZ high deser
The pics are some mystery bag seed that are three weeks in. I transplanted to cloth bags yesterday and left them in the greenhouse overnight. Temps were in the lower 40s, so I was apprehensive but they did fine.
I watered with rainwater until now, but now switching to house water that is treated with potassium chloride. The other plants don’t seem to mind, I hope the cannabis agrees.
I have four mail order seedlings starting. I started out researching strains but got bored and ordered four seed strains based on cosmetics. I hope they tolerate the environment; Mexican Haze, Amnesia, Herijuana, and critical mass CBD.
Six plants is going to be tight fit in our patio and trying to avoid the notice nosy neighbors is a priority. It’s going to be a fun summer.
We use potassium chloride (not sodium chloride) pellets to soften the water in the house and it’s what we use to water the plants. It doesn’t seem to negatively affect the plants and the two oldest are thriving.
Two younger plants have been pokey in developing. From what I’ve read,
Potassium chloride is not good for seedlings, so they should overcome it.
Does the potassium from the water benefit the plants and should I back off on potassium when I feed them?
The yellowing leaves looks like over feeding doesn’t it? I fed it twice a week with watering every day. My other plants have been on the same schedule and are doing well. If it’s not too many nutrients, could it be heat stress? It’s a bag seed plant, and I have no idea what it is, although it looks like sativa.
My grow, almost three months in. I’ve had some issues with nutrients. I’m using an Fox Farm 6-4-4 liquid fertilizer, three capfuls per gallon.
Feeding every other day didn’t go well with lots of dead leaves. I stopped feeding last week and will repeat as needed. Each plant is a different variety, so it throws in a new variable. I won’t do that again.
