Starting at the 2 week of flowering there was 1 light green girl out of 10 kens gdp then 2, now in the 4th week 3 going on 4. Unlike the other dark green girls with slightly up turning bud leaves; the buds and sugar leaves of these 3 look like they are scowling with a downward slope to the buds leaves. Stems are purplish. They are all being fed the same; Earth Juice advanced formular with extra "grow" 1x/week and teas made with alaskan humus,ec,primal harves guano (0 10 0), molasses, catalyst, fish hydro. soluable kelp 1x/week. Looking at Seamaiden's flow chart looks like maybe too much P (I intentionally added extra P & K early to give a little boost to producing flowers), or a N or magnesium deficiency.
One other possibility, I have been watering with high ph (8) well water (ppms 250) 1x/week without adjusting ph since the girls are in soil and the ej mix is always very low ph. I do this a few hours before feeding.

The main impression is of an evenly pale yellowish green plant with red/purple stems. Closer up the leaf veins are paler than the rest of the leaf.

Excess P causes a too dark green color. Because you mention the purplish stems, I'm thinking it's deficient. I'm thinking Mg-, but the tell and super-quick diagnostic for you would be to do a foliar with something like Epsom salt at the rate of about 1/4tsp/gal water (use a sticker-spreader, soap, something like that). If it greens up quickly, there you go.

Just for the record this is a no fail way to be sure of a mag def. I've done it and passed it on to others. Great info as always sea!

OK so I sprayed 4 at 1/2 teas/gal. How long before I should see an improvement.

Hours, IF it's a Mg deficiency.

24 hrs and no or very little change. Since the stems are purple my next move is to foliar spray something with N. I've got some fox farm grow 4 3 3. WIll try that tonight. Any other suggestions. First photo shows the contrast between yellowing and the others; the next 2 shows the pointing downward of the sugar leaves in the yellowing plant and the normal but; ; the last the difference between the normal and yellowing girls.

Any chance the yellow plants are towards the middle of the room. Maybe getting more intense light and thus needing more nutes. They look like they need some more N

This has been a recurring problem for me. I always seem to have about 30% of the plants with a yellowing/purple stem problem. For the super silver haze I anticipated this for this run and kept the N levels high and they are fine; did the same for the ken's but as I said 3 out of ten are very yellow 2; are beginning to show signs . the others are just fine. I move them around so don't think its too much light or heat. The distance from the bulbs is a good 24". And then there is that downward flattening of the sugar leaves.???

Purpling/reddish stems are a sign of P-.

So 3 out of 10 are stunted. The rest show signs of over feeding. Take a look at these photos. 1st is normal; next are the stunted buds with the leaves point downward. Last show normal and stunted in front. They are all being fed the same.

Have you read the thread on duds and stunted plants, yet? :(

I'm pretty sure it's fungus gnats since I have a pretty bad infestation. Probably started in those plants. I did use a different brand of soil to top off a few of the bags. Won't know which ones until I harvest in a few weeks.
