You seemingly have a buildup in your coco, and you've locked yourself out by overfeeding.

You did not mention watering/feeding frequency or method so it's a half-baked guess. I'm going off of the high (very high, actually) ppm runoff vs. input, and the pH drop from input to output.

Greetings, noble grower! I agree with Bobcat. The leaf you show reveals signs of nutrient-related distress. The yellowing with dark brown or purple spots along the edges typically points to a nutrient deficiency or imbalance. While 5.8 to 6 is close to optimal, coco often prefers pH around 5.8 to 6.2 for best nutrient availability. If pH drifts lower, potassium uptake can be reduced. Coco fiber can hold onto salts and nutrients; improper flushing or buildup might cause nutrient lockout leading to these symptoms.
  • Coco often requires careful feeding with cal-mag supplements and a balanced N-P-K ratio.
  • If you suspect nutrient build-up or lockout, a gentle flush with pH-balanced water might help reset.

Like @Bobcat.Branch said, the relationship between input and output TDS tells the story. You're accruing salt in your media. The symptoms support that theory...tip burn, running down the leaf edges, and clawing. The edge curl and taco-ing are related...once your nute uptake is screwy, it's easy to be over-lit.

Would gentle mean 3x the normal feed flushed with just ph water ?

I've had to do that until you see clear water out the bottom, then restart feedings after and i did the restart feeds at 1/2strength. Some one may have better thoughts about it.

Yeah I was also wondering how much to come back in at. I was thinking 1000ppm but maybe that’s still too high.

I know coco growers who never bring their EC (500 scale) above 700-800. There's been many people including me who have suggested your plant issues are due to over-feeding. Feeding more will not correct the issue. I would flush then go with a feed in the 700 EC category.

Dude I am so surprised this did not get handled. Hopefully a coco grower can help.
There are wetting agents and things to help remove the buildup. It takes a soak and purge for a while. Then restart system with reduced nutes.
There was a wonderful lady on riu that was a wiz on coco. Here biggest points were not going over 1000 until you became very familiar with the strain and ride herd on PH like you do.

Look for something along the lines of Bush Doctor Sledge Hammer. It's a wetting agent designed to help break up salts build-up.

Bush Doctor® SledgeHammer® - FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company

Bush Doctor® SledgeHammer® is a unique rinse formula designed to remove excess fertilizer build up by encouraging water movement through soil and soilless media. High fertilizer use can compromise plant growth over time due to concentrated mineral salt deposits.

I rarely go over 1.6 EC in Coco, ever. 1.0 - 1.2 veg and up to 1.6 in flower. It's a balancing act, or can be because in coco and under LEDs you will need CaMg and it eats up EC quickly. I'm favored by an extremely low ppm water source, and with ebb and flow I have total control over frequency, amount per feeding, and with a good perlite to coco ratio all helps favor frequent feedings without drowning. So, lower EC, more frequent feedings is my jam. "Flushes" for me was just one day (2 to 5 cycles) of CaMg at 2ml per gallon, pH to 6.0 and only in between reservoir changes, if even necessary.

It's a balancing act for sure ...

@Timv

For the newer grower still learning the ropes, less is always more. Experienced growers know by plant signals when to shift feed strength, etc ... You can read everything ever written on the subject and its still not a substitution for experience. Let the experienced coco growers like @Bobcat.Branch help you determine when to raise your EC levels.

For now, you'll need to get the salt buildup under control before you can even consider a higher EC

Much love to everyone !! I have read a lot about the lower PPM for Coco, but what has gotten me in a whirlwind is I’ve been running these strains for just about two years and never had an issue going up as high as 1300 ppm so that’s why all of this is just so confusing to me as to what has changed. I am going to completely dial back and get them flushed.

If I were to guess ... your nutrient ratios are off due to the salts buildup.

If every other aspect of the grow is on point, then a higher EC isn't a big deal, and is actually warranted.

I may be tipping my hand, but I guess I rarely have a perfect setup on any given grow lol

I don't think a "perfect" setup exists. For most people, their success will be determined by how well they read what the plant is telling them. This is why experience is ultimately the best teacher ...

So true. I almost don't care to diagnose much in the way of deficiencies. All I generally need to know is that something undesirable is happening and I just go straight to the source or reason for it. And it's usually something I've overlooked, ignored, or did in error that created any given problem. The cause is usually me - End of mystery diagnosis.
