Bottom line is boys, they are all corrupt. Right now the Dems are kicking the Conservatives asses. Until the Republician party gets as down in the dirt as their opponents the libs are going to rule. And we just get to sit back and take the shit they shovel our way.

I'd agree they're all corrupt--but I just contend they are corrupt differently. Some things are, of course, the same but there are definitely differences. Those are the difference makers for me with regard to leaning liberal.

The truth be told:

If there was a REAL conservative OR liberal party to be had I would vote for them. The fact is we have neither.

You might as well call the conservatives the crazies at this point and the liberals are moderates at best--but mostly they're just impotent and so politically correct that it hurts.

Neither of these things amply describe conservatives or liberals.

I think the republican party is honestly sunk at this point. You might have a couple of back and forths over the next 10-20 years but my generation is going to knock that party over something fierce. They have aligned themselves with a set of morals that just goes against what about 80% of people +/- 10 years of my age believe, and that trend is only getting worse for them as age goes down.

If the republican party survives the next 30 years it'll be as different then from what it is now as it is now from what it was in the 1960s.

They have made their bed, and now the public is going to make them lie in it. They'll learn soon enough that the public isn't made up of white folks over the age of 55--and for as close as it might seem to that now, that demographic is rapidly changing (as the old fogeys die off).

For all the anti-Obama propaganda they still couldn't un-elect the guy--and let's be honest: They sold their political soul in the attempt to do just that. That is really telling at the end of the day. We're in for several more terms of congressional grid lock for sure, but I don't see a path for republicans to repair the damage they've done to themselves. They might take the next election or two, but the erosion of that party has certainly begun there can be no doubt of it.

Hopefully within the next 5 years both parties will go to the wayside. This country NEEDS a revolution....and I fear that they are preparing for that. With the NDAA changes and the Patriot Act...you can bet that the Government KNOWS we the people are waking up.

"There's a reason you separate military and the police. One fights the enemies of the state, the other serves and protects the people. When the military becomes both, then the enemies of the state tend to become the people." Commander William Adama

Squiggly.....while I agree with you that the Republicans have dug themselves a hole.....I find it hard to believe that ANYONE can support Obama at this point. Well anyone who has any common sense or knows some of the atrocious things he has done.

Sad thing is....probably only 10% of Americans even KNOW what got included into the NDAA. I ask people all the time. Hell I ask Obama supporters and they are like "HUH"? Whats that? I find it funny that the 3 questions I posed earlier in this thread have NOT been touched by anyone.

NO.....I am NOT a Republican.....nor am I Democrat. I'm not even trying to start some kind of political fight over who is better Right or Left. I think they are all EVIL. I cannot STAND to see American citizens go back and forth blaming each others parties for the HUGE FUCKING MESS things are in.

WHO IS TO BLAME?
Each and every single one of us! We sit around and point fingers at one another while the politicians are laughing there way to the bank. We COULD very easily RISE UP and FIGHT and make all the TREASONOUS BASTARDS stand trial.

For fucks sake....we are in the year 2012....and we still WAR one another????? WTF already. Do people NOT know that war is a complete and total SHAM? Take it from the most decorated Marine officer Smedley Butler.

WAR IS A RACKET!

That is all.....I will stop ranting....for today.

Who will lead this "revolt"? What will the focus be? Can we as a group come to a consensus?

Or is one guy gonna be warring for a new pickem up truck..cus THAT is THE most important goal he has in life while another guy wants to bang Taylor Swift and buy a doublewide and THAT is HIS focus/goal in life??

Are Americans smart enough/healthy/SELF-SUFFICIENT enough TO revolt? Or..once the Gov't cuts of the gas supply, kills their TV and closes the SONIC down the street will they be LOST AND INEFFECTIVE?

Some of ya may be ready to dig in and fight...but the folks who can't see their feet for their gut (what..75% of america now?) and who think "Wal-Mart" is a good thing for America...just..>>>>>>aren't<<<<<<....

That is the sleepin giants attitude ^^^^^ let us (you and i and those who know) the few be the sleeping giants conscious....
If money is so important and makes the world go round ...
The focus is asking where is the money coming from and where is it going?
Making educated decisions where we work and and where we spend are money.

Walmart is not what Sam Walton wanted, his children sold out his ethics....
McDonald's begining was suppose to be a healthy choice for the poor...
KingSoopers They began to offer affordable cornerstore food...

We need to preserve the mission

Raise our children to trust and carry our ethics forward!
The plan is there we need to execute and preserve the message!

I'll make this short and sweet because I've already laid it out before... Obama said "I'm on top of the World" and was Whistling Zippidy Do Dah out his Butthole until the Republicans took the House (The Democratic Obama Party was Sunk!) Poor Obama :( , Lied his ass off and broke all his campaign promises, dead in his tracks... Then he had A brilliant Idea called "Gun Control" and all his Senators that are up for Re-Election in 2014 shit their pants  because they are "All" from Pro Gun states :finger: ... Combine that with All the scandalous shit coming from the White House and you can bet the farm that the members of Senate up for election are crapping their pants and worried about their careers more than Obama because His run is as good as over (End of Term) 2014 is A short time away and even the Silver Tonged Devil Himself couldn't lie his way out of all the scandals in that short time frame... and people don't forget! 2014 the Senate changes hands and the Lame Duck is A Dead Duck...

Not to mention the fact that Obama Care will be ran by the I.R.S. :woot: Good Luck with that ;)

The following statement is from somebody's personal point of view and they obviously speak for their selves and have every right to do so and I can respect that...

Some of ya may be ready to dig in and fight...but the folks who can't see their feet for their gut (what..75% of america now?) and who think "Wal-Mart" is a good thing for America...just..>>>>>>aren't<<<<<<....

Now lets see the numbers from the Federal Governments point of view... After all, they are the ones that tell us what to eat and who is fat...

Military age 17 with parental permission, 18 for voluntary service. Maximum age for enlistment is 42 for the Army, 28 for the Marines, 34 for the Navy and 27 for the Air Force.[1]
Available for
military service 73,270,043 males, age 18–49 (2010 est.),
71,941,969 females, age 18–49 (2010 est.)

Fit for
military service
60,620,143 males, age 18–49 (2010 est.),
59,401,941 females, age 18–49 (2010 est.)

Reaching military
age annually 2,161,727 males (2010 est.),
2,055,685 females (2010 est.)

Active personnel 1,429,995[2] (ranked 2nd)
Reserve personnel 850,880[3] (ranked 10th

Hmmm, looks like #'s say Approx 1.5 Million Active Military personal (2nd most powerful in the world) and 120 Million "Fit" and Ready sitting in the private sector? 100 times the number of active military??? Potentially Ready for Combat... and if my memory serves me correctly Military "Boot Camp" is Approx 8 weeks to be proficient for War? There are people that have trained hand to hand combat (MMA) for there entire life time (for the fun of it) all over the globe that have "Never" been in the Military. Take A look on "Google" at the number of weapons in civilian hands in the U.S. and you will have A more accurate description of what the civilian population is capable of. It just takes A big enough "Match" to light A Fire that will be difficult to say the least to stop...

The time will come when people stop accepting the fact that, Yeah the President is Fuckin' Up, From the Left or Right, Don't matter... As long as He / She is "Our" guy... It's all Good / Acceptable. I can never get past the "Truth" how Ridiculously Ignorant that is...

I'm personally not into football (politics), just not my thing. All the Obama hype makes me think of A game, A game that last 8 years. I'm half way up the bleachers on the 50 yard line watching the show because everybody convinced me to go... This "One" guy is Really, Really, Good. He even say's he's Really, Really Good. So I'm watching the "Game" and the guy sucks... People are looking at each other and thinking "This Guy Sucks" but they just won't say it because "Every Body" said before the guy is "That Good"... I could care less what team wins, because I'm not In / Part of the game. I just call it the way I see it.

good stuff Ken, gotta appreciate the gangster that Carville is! That guy is a straight up Tony Soprano, or maybe better one of his enforcers, did you read Hunter S Thompsons take on him? Wow! Not that what they did is good or anything, just appreciating the art I guess.

As far as revolution goes, there have maybe been 3 since the beginning of history. I say this because almost always the group that is in the forefront of the revolution will mirror their predecessor within a matter of five years post revolution. Don't believe me? Study revolutions for a little and the truth will be told. FYI, the "American Revolution" is not one of the three! Greed, power, corruption are all byproducts of every government. It is what it is. In that haze though, one can hope to find something a little better than the rest. Not a lot, just a little.

I was way "off topic"... So Removed those posts...sorry

Are you counting the "revolution" recently in Iceland?

Not yet, time will tell on that one buddy! They are seemingly on the way though. The French revolution is a good example of things actually changing post revolution.
I dropped out of High school in 11th grade:wacky: .. I could Google French Revolution..but I dont care...lol:rolleyes:

I do care a little bit about current history though.

That's because the French don't fuck around. If shit doesn't change they'll turn right back around and burn the shit to the ground again and again until they get it right.

Honestly I think you're wrong about shit not changing after the American Revolution. I will admit shit has gone back to being similar to what the colonists turned against now, but in 5 years? No way.

Yeah it took some time squigs, but really there was very little social movement post revolution for anyone that did not have that ability in the U.k.. That is how I look at revolutions, before and after. The five years idea is just a number, often revolutions fall apart sooner, some later. Jefferson and his use of presidential powers for the Louisiana purchase may have been the beginning to the end with the American one.

I guess it All depends what you think A revolution looks like, Like I said, it just takes A match to light the fire... You really believe A revolution in the U.S. today would look anything like the civil war? I see it starting like this...

Google Holly Wood shoot out, where 2 armed men held off 400 armed officers, or L.A. riots, that shut down the second largest city in the united states... Get the Idea? (was here for both) Just one thing can set it off, just add weapons and I.E.D's / Molotov cocktails... It can happen weather you acknowledge it or not... 5 years ago people were saying A black man would never be president. Not long before that, in the historical sense, there would Never be A terrorist attack on American soil, Never say Never...
