Sarah Hall Ingram was commissioner of the IRS office from 2009 to 2012, roughly the period that the agency is accused of singling out tea party and conservative groups. She has been promoted to "Handle" Obama Care. Lois Lerner is Taking the Heat for her and could be facing possible Contempt of Court charges at A minimum... If she is subpenaed to testify and refuses and possible criminal charges could be pending. Shit will hit the Fan... Eventually and Like I said before, 2014 Mid Term Elections are coming and the Senate is Shitting their pants...

I agree with him in principle actually.

The only correction I'll make is that Obama hasn't really gone to any lengths at all.

Between the Patriot Act and AUMF the Constitution was already circumvented for him before he took office. It is the selective memory of conservatives that attempts to lay the albatross of going around the constitution at Obama's feet.

I won't deny that he exercised the power, and that's why I agree in principle. He didn't have to do that and he shouldn't have. However, Bush secured the ability to do it for him--and there can be no mistake on that unless you think Obama was wearing a George Bush suit for the 8 years prior to his first term.

If you watched his recent speech he wants to give the power back (an empty concession at this stage of the game--but one which shouldn't be overlooked or passed over). Meanwhile, Republicans want to EXPAND AUMF instead of repeal it which is an enormous *facepalm*.

No president is perfect and keep all of their promises. I'd argue that at least Obama TRIED to keep most of his. I think his biggest mistake was over reaching and beliving he could do too much.

Instead of agreeing to common sense reforms that most Americans want (like closing Guantanamo) the Republicans saw an opportunity to deny Democrats a positive narrative while they held office. If they went along with closing Gitmo and all of the other things Obama wanted to do--it would look too much like he were succeeding. That's not a track record they were willing to let him build.

It would be a BIG problem for Republicans if a charismatic dude was able to make all of these HUGE campaign promises and then actually follow through with them. So they played obstructionist wherever possible. As a tactic it was brilliant and it has energized their base--gotta give them credit there. In terms of what's good for the country it was HORRIBLE.

1. We didn't get shit done. It's honestly hard to blame much on Obama because he's been basically castrated by congress since Kennedy died.

House and Senate was all his until He decided that Obama Care was more Important than Jobs and He himself, Lost control of the House because "The People" overwhelmingly voted Republican for the Mid Term Election, Like I keep telling people is going to happen with the Senate in 2014... Look at the Shit Sandwhich Obama has to deal with in the next 6-7 months when "The Run for Senate Elections" begins... There is "Zero" chance of sweeping all that trash under the rug and that will be the Top thing on Voters minds.

Proving it’s really jobs, stupid, President Barack Obama lost control of the U.S. House of Representatives while narrowly holding onto the Senate in yesterday’s midterm election.
Obama, who virtually spent all of 2009 courting Republican lawmakers in an effort to pass national healthcare reform, while every opinion poll showed the number one issue Americans cared most about was jobs, saw his party’s majorities in the House fall to 189 Democrats, with 239 seats now held by Republicans.



Obama the Charismatic Dude never saw that coming because as Usual....
He was just to Cool for School... Amateur! :woot:


P.S. Not to Mention the Overwhelming "Turd" Obama Care is proving itself to be...

I never said anything to support Bush.....and yes he did pave the way with the Patriot Act, and Obama made things even worse with the NDAA. I personally think Bush was in on 9/11 and I think he should stand trial for that. Just like I think Obama should stand trial. I'm no conservative....nor am I a liberal. I've ALWAYS felt Middle of the Road on things. There are things about both parties I agree with.....but for the most part, I believe they are all DIRTY. Why? Something I have been saying since I was 15 years old....back in 85.....when I had a 12" Mohawk. CORPORATIONS RUN THIS COUNTRY!

The FIRST STEP IN CHANGING the US is to pull the lobbyists out of Washington. Get politics back on track.

I think it's FUNNY how liberals who PRAISE Obama and attack conservatives haven't even noticed that Obama signed the Monsanto Protection Act. If that isn't Government protecting BIG BUSINESS (behavior you would normally be reserved for conservatives), then I don't know what is.

Not too sure that this is correct. Illegal immigrants pay taxes for the most part (most employers are forced too this) yet they receive no benefits. I can say this first hand as many of my family members made the trek over here, worked their asses off and paid taxes and have returned to Mexico. None of them get social security, welfare, or even drive on our roads anymore.
