Obama came through in the end, now I hope the country can get back to the business of working together. Perhaps the left can come right and the right can come waaaaaaaay left and we can get moving forward.

Condolences to those of you who are super pissed off and will be wringing your hands about it for awhile. Let's just remember that we're all Americans and that people still die in the attempt to choose their own leaders, as we've done so easily that it was expected of us today.

Im with you both, I lived in Aurora for a short time, loved it, would love to live there again, but stuck for now. El Cerebro and he could do it so gracefully too by picking up a few of his friends, they would do all the smoking and he would just have to inhale we could call it plausible smokability lol.. could you picture him and john Stewart in a limo ride. lol..

He's not seeking to amass power for himself--we're freely giving it to him, through the democratic process.

I feel very lucky to be alive in this amazingly interesting time with such a phenomenal man leading our country. I believe that he governed more or less like a Republican these last four years, I am ready for the change that seems so inevitable and watch the President govern as a Democrat.

They dont want to secede cause there guy lost, they want to secede because the democratic party and all there 'BIG SPENDING' is tearing this country apart. The Democrats need to familiarize themselves with the Constitution and how a Democracy is actually run not Socialism.

I get frustrated every time I read one of these threads. I usually type up some long winded response, then delete it all and say fuck it. Because nobody is going to change their stance on the issues(even if they are completely backwards and uneducated) from reading a thread on a Canna website. Although, I must admit. I do find em very entertaining at times...
