Odor=Good weed

Hey again guys. I have a good question for some experienced growers out there. I'm new to growing as some of you know, and I have some bagseed growing (along with seeds from Attitude) that only had a few seeds in the bag and was some really strong smelling bud. About 2 1/2 weeks into veg, these 7 plants were stinking so much I had to buy a carbon filter/fan combo from HTG. Now they are in flower since Nov. 30 and they are getting ridiculously strong smelling. Is this normal or did I run up on the mother of all bagseeds here?
My other strains are super lemon haze, lemon skunk and my favorite.....take a guess....LA Woman
All in Fafard soil, Medina Hastsgro nutes, 1000 watt hps sun system and about 20,000 lumens from t12 floro tubes in veg and clone room.
Really wondering if experienced growers can tell me that if the plant smells really strong it usually means that the smoke will be really strong as well.

Im glad u found a stinker, although im not sure terpines and thc go hand in hand hopefully she wont disappoint, i have the opposite prob none of my plants ever stink...or maybe i just smoke to much in the house and im immune lol

hi i am new to growing as well all mine smell i bought a 4" 100mm fan and filter and it did not make mutch diferance so i got a 6" fan and filter running them together and the smell has gone my grow tent is 2x2x2 meters and i only have 4 blue dragon plants in there

I mean it's not a *bad* indicator - but I'm not really sure that it is indicitive of some sort of superior strain, given how far genetics have come in the last decade or two.

I'm kinda with SkyHi - I'm sure my house reeks but I usually don't smell it for whatever reason.

Most strains get awfully smelly a few weeks into flower. This is pretty typical.

Oh I love Fafard soil where did you buy it?
I used to work for them, I was a control room operator, Man I remember we had hundreds of pallets of coco straight from sir lanka, You can go to one of the warehouses and get your truck bed or trailer fill of there soil for 15 dollars.. Because after it the ground they can't sell it, but it's still good. I use to leave work every night with about 5 bags of soil.. My favorite is there 3B mix.. thats some good shit.. And you buy 55 cubic feet bags of soil too at whole sale.. I want get one of those huge bags they weigh like 600 pounds and put one plant in that bag and let veg into a tree...lol

i have grown out some NL and they had a really heavy high but not much smell at all growing. very low smelling strain

skunk1xunknown kush clones smelled . scary weed triple bag didnt help . probably gonna be good .

im growing white widow & there strong sweet smell is AWSOME,,,,so , mabee ya got a winner:afroweed:

This is all good news for me. I vegged 7 and unfortunately had 4 boys. So now I still have 3 stinky girls left. And like I said the bag only had about 10 seeds for an entire ounce, so who knows this stuff might be from some high dollar seeds.
