A friend of mine gifted me a cut that he refers to as the silverback. He is also under the idea that it is actually the Raskal cut. Has anyone heard of the silverback og cut?

I have seen it on the boards. Couldnt tell u the make up. There's new names pinned, and cuts renamed daily. Too many "OGs" to count.. :)

Interesting. I am hoping to pin this one down as it would be a great breeder. Super lemon petrol funk

Ive smoked plenty of sliver back and would LOVE to get a cut!!!! But not its not the fire (which I have smoked plenty of times) but is the fucking bomb!!! If its the real deal keep silver back i smoked dial it in and never let go of it...


ps its a good idea to give out to good friends that way if you lose it somehow you can get it back. I am a medical patient in cali :D

Glad to see more og cuts making their rounds in co id like to see some better og nugs around these parts
Silverback is supposed to be bomb and a yielder she's oldschool too

As far as i know it is a cut that came from L.A.

Ya im growing silver back and i can tell u this much it takes over your space quick think it will make a great adition to my outdoor crop

Not a bad idea. I also have a cut my boy gave me called super sour. Not quite sure what it is but its supposed to be a mix of some OG's. I have some nice alien og i can do as well. Il probably journal those three

"Silver Back" is a strain supposedly created by Apothecary Genetics. It's a cross of Super Silver Haze X Grape Ape.

Crazy how there are so many different ideas of what this strain is. It def has OG in it. I'll fire up this grow journal so everyone can check it out.

Ok, I don't have any direct or intimate details of the strain/creator, but Apothecary's website lists themselves as the strains creators.
Btw, is Bret in jail? I read somewhere he recently got pinched by feds up north. Shitty to hear if it is indeed true...

ive had silverback gorilla and its not og. Def. a nice kush though.
I have to search again but i think i read that silverback gorilla is a 8 way kush cross and i guess apothecary has another cross with the same name which is the ssh x grape ape........
and then we have silverback og, the strain cannarado is talking about on this thread.

Had some in the vape the other day and it definitely has the OG funk. No real lemon or pine flavor, but a lovely straight OG. Sublime and complex.
