You’ve done your due diligence! Growing a few plants isn’t rocket science, although some people would like to make it so! Good job so far! And dumb luck doesn’t get you this far!

I disagree. I've had more than 1 plant, and it's still bright. 200 watts wouldn't be enough for my plant. Not enough energy. Just my opinion. I'll shut up now !

Please don't shut up. I value everyone's opinion especially in as much as my light was off for the photos. You were in fact correct it was dark. Please see my recent posts with the light on, my bad.. I am running the light at 90% Thanks

Ok. I still think it's not very bright. I believe a 4x4x7 is exactly twice the mass as a 3x3x6. If my math is right. I'm not saying run 645 at 100, but I'm saying you should atleast be 300 watts.
I don't even know if you have full spectrum. My opinion the light is the most important thing a plant needs. Doesn't matter if you have the best soil, and seed in the world, light gives it everything. In my opinion.

Reads like rocket science to me! Coming from a shovel, bucket of compost and a seed.... it's rocket science now.

I've had house plants for years and gardens in impossible places. The one thing I learned is that the plants will speak to you just have to learn the language. When it comes to cannabis there is a new language to learn and cannabis is much faster to react to abuse ..

Guess what happens when you give your Ivy plant the Nute left overs? You don't want to sleep to close to it.

My light is as high up in the tent as it can be at 19 inches above the tallest part of the plant. Yes it is full spectrum. Because of heat I am running it at 90%. The light will increase the temperature in the tent by a maximum 8 degrees usually about 5. This creates a interior temperature of 82 to 85 degrees F. I have been fighting this with a increases in RH but this causes me concern over mold possibilities. Thanks to one of your posts I now keep the tent door open at times. Duh! sometimes I scare myself when something like that didn't occur to me. My interior fans are set at 5 of 10.

I could lower the light or just kick it to 100% but temperature worries me. Yes your math is correct.

Mines at 16 1/2 - 100.
When I went upfront 80 % to 100 % it raised the temp 3 degrees. But, it made me think about it, and realized that I could kick both the exaust, and intake fans up !
Then to go a step further I cooled the temp outside the tent. Im running the ac, and I got a fan pulling that air, and pushing it into my gro room.

That's the only thing I could do. It's 90 outside. So, that didn't help. Summer gros are tougher.

I have pretty much the same set up with additional fans doing the exact same thing. I will never do another summer grow. Once is an experience, twice would be a tragedy. 90 f. here as well sun has gone down enough that my temp is 79F at 54% RH. with door full open.

Do you think the lighting could be part of the problem I'm experiencing?

Leds give off heat. You do have an intake, and exaust right ? But it won't matter if your room is hot.

You could have 10 fans in the gro tent, and it wouldn't matter if your room was warm.

I've never actually tried this but have seriously considered it in situations where I seemed to have little options for cooling my space. Maybe someone will be game and give it a go. The basic idea is a block of dry ice placed in a cooler with a hole cut in the lid to fit ducting and then running an inline fan into the space. Or some similar concept maybe. Just putting it out there.

The fans are moving cooler air in to the grow room and one directing air directly into the tent from the rest of the house and exhausting to outside through a roof vent. I have full sun load on my house all day. Nice in winter, sucks in summer.

It might work but keep this in mind should anyone try it. "Dry ice can be a very serious hazard in a small space that isn't well-ventilated. As dry ice melts, it turns into carbon dioxide gas. In a small space, this gas can build up. If enough carbon dioxide gas is present, a person can become unconscious, and in some cases, die."

Great point! Actually the CO2 was the other reason I considered it. It is a double edged sword for sure. And to be more clear, I wasn't talking about a 5# block. More like a smaller piece that will have a more limited window of duration. I've used CO2 supplementation in smaller spaces and it's no joke to be sure. Anyone who knows can understand why I balked. Thanks for pointing that out.

Ya I'm going to pass on that one. I got it down to 81- 82° day, and about 75 ° at night. That's as low as I can get it. But, after all we are growing canibus. And, I know canibus didn't come from the artic. Genetically it can take the heat. Look where most of it came from. I know it didn't come from Minnesota.

About the same here. High 81 lights on and 77 lights off. My light runs 18/6, I have the off cycle set from 12 noon to 6pm. It's the hottest part of the day and most expensive per KWH. I will change that in my Fall grow. This summer grow stuff is nerve-wracking.

Ruderalis?

I hear ya, mine survived a week of 100+ temps. Actually had one girl get a sunburn. They can grow in many conditions. But environment will impact the end result. If what you have going is cool with you then so be it. Grow on dude!
