Pretty much finished all new grow areas now. I’m pretty chuffed with how they turned out. The main reason for the rebuild was I wanted more height in the main area and I needed to find a solution to high temps in the drying area.

All I had to buy was some more duct tape and a couple more hooks (apart from the extra fan and carbon filter) everything else was from the original or things I had lying around.

I’ve now got 6ft 4inches from floor to light fitting with carbon filter above light.

But I think I’m most happy about the numbers in the new drying area

Close to that so called magic 60/60

Last part of the puzzle completed as I have put the propagation/seedling cupboard at the top.

Now I just need to think about what I’m going to grow next and planning my 1 gallon pot challenge

Hell yeah! very nice and organized: ) how many potentials do you have for the 1gal challenge? I’m waiting for the β€œthe official rules” to come out lol ( I have one gallon plastic bags I want to use but not sure if thats cool).

Thanks mate . Well firstly I think im going to go auto for the 1 gallon as that’s what I know so far. now I need to decide if I do one I’ve already done or something new.

Plastic bag sounds interesting, is that an every day plastic bag or is it meant to be a pot??

Harvest time for the old ends…

Was thinking of letting the blue dream go another week but really want to get the benefit from the uplifting high so didn’t want to let too many trichs go amber.

Where as a lot are now amber on the blueberry as I want something to knock me out when I can’t sleep.

Blueberry

Blue Dream

And some seriously sticky fingers

Dry trimmed the first lot of blueberry I cut 13 days ago

Happy with that return considering I didn’t take too good care of her. Expect 100g from her total with what I harvested yesterday.

Unfortunately a little nug fell off so I had to smoke that bit . Definitely a night time smoke, the muscles in my neck felt like they melted away

Update on stress killer

Since this is my only plant at the moment I’ve been spending a lot of time trying to LST her as much as possible. Easily the most I’ve done in a grow yet
I think she’s just about starting to stretch so I won’t do any more now.

Handmade growrooms always looks so interesting, never the same. It's fascinating to see how many different solutions people can come up with to the same problems

Thank you .

I still haven’t made the net yet how high above the canopy would you put it?
It’s a hybrid but 65% sativa I think, so I’m guessing she’s going to stretch a fair bit.

Yeah it’s part of the hobby for me. Mind you normally when I find a solution to a problem it creates a different one

I would wait few days until she will shoot up more and then slap it on already tucking under but I can see most people put them up and wait so it's up to you. I will aim having first net just as canopy starts, under it I want clean and nice space and trunks only. Am I right? I don't know
You have there your build DIY walls- you can install it stiff for her nicely so she would take all that space for herself

Couple of pics from today

This is the first plant I’ve grown that has non symmetrical bud sites. Funny as I was only reading a thread the other day where someone said what this was called.

So the other two cbd fix didn’t germinate either, I had a look in the soil and they had both started growing a root but then must have rotten away.

I had ordered some cosmos f1 from royal queen seeds so was going to do a couple of them but I really want to make some salve thanks to @PlumberSoCal2 recipe so I decided to do 1 cosmos and 1 northern lights as that seems a good option to put in a salve.

I tried the paper towel method this time just to give it a go as my last 3 attempts didn’t germinate. This is them after 12 hours soaking in rain water

36 hours later and they had both popped a tail (already planted the cosmos before I thought to take a pic)
Then potted up in a mix of bio bizz light mix with extra perlite and vermiculite and a pinch of great white mycorrhizae

I popped them in a germination tray each and stuck them in the propagator with bottom heat set at 25 degrees c.
I made up a litre of rain water with 1/2ml of both biobizz root juice and silicone plus 4 drops of ph down to get to around 6.5. Ready for misting the soil when needed.
Less then 24 hours later and both have broken the surface . I must say I do like this paper towel method as you can see when the beans have definitely popped.

Yeah I really like it, it does ec as well. I had a blu lab one that was a pain in the ass to look after where as this one comes with all the solutions and more importantly little pots for each one to keep it all calibrated and clean
