Old Ends and New Beginnings

Did you took yourself one with removable probe? That’s the main reason I got it. I can be a bit forgetful and if you don’t put fluid in the cap occasionally the probe dries out ( sorry blu lab pen) but at least with this one it’s only £30ish to replace...

Also just fyi it looks exactly like this apera set which I believe is a quality brand. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was made by them in the same factory but just branded different for ac infinity

Trimmed and jarred the rest of the blueberry and the blue dream yesterday. Really happy with what I got from both plants considering the issues with under feeding, too much light and fungus gnats and their larvae.

Blueberry total weight including earlier harvested buds = 74g

Blue dream total weight 127g including 13g of small buds I probably should have pruned

It’s been a while since I updated been busy getting ready for the 1 gallon challenge.

Also been dealing with a slight issue with the curing buds as I think I jarred them slightly too soon but think I’m on top of that now and they are starting to get their smell back.

Stress killer is coming along nicely, although I think she’s got a nitrogen deficiency. She’s been on 2-8-10 dry amendments for about 3 weeks now with a small dose of biobizz calmag each watering. Maybe I could give her a little top up of nitrogen through the biobizz fish mix next feed? I think she’s at her limit for bloom nutes as I’m just starting to see leaf tip burn. Any thoughts or ideas welcome!

Cosmos F1 and northern lights have been potted into their final pots (25 litre) and seem to be happy, Cosmos is a bit behind at the moment but both look good and healthy
Did first bit of LST on both yesterday and first water since up potting
I’m trying to get them used to a slightly higher temperature as my 1 gallon will be in the same room and according to fast buds website she likes it hot

Thanks sunin, she’s 65 days from sprout today so 2-3 weeks left I reckon.

Yeah air pots in there getting warmed up! I changed the soil from all mix to light mix as I’m going to plant direct ( thanks for the guidance on that ) good luck to you too it’s going to be good to see how it all goes

and you will surely have some nicer results with air pot on feeding base.
I prepared myself 300 ml pepsi bottle with small holes in the cap

Gotta be honest I never noticed your first posts with the cabinet build, that’s sick fam. Been considering a bunch of options. I’d really like to build out some rooms to replace the tents a nice flower room 8x4 with a 4x4 veg room and a 2x4 double stack prop chamber basically the same setup I have but as rooms

What’s the dimensions of each one?

Cheers Mike, the upgraded bigger spaces I built a few weeks ago were inspired by your basement area project. I’m still very limited on space but at least now I have the head height to grow photos without too much worry.

The bigger room is just over 3 x 2 1/2 feet and 7 feet tall. The smaller room is 2 x 2 1/2 and 4 feet tall.

nice job
ask wife if you can make me SCROG table while you're at it

Now you have to invent yourself some hobby, that your other half will be repeating too in neighbourhood until they get use to it "can't stand him making those horse rockers bases all the time in his man hole, he's obsessed with it, but better any hobby than none"
Me for example- I grow Chrysanthemums I still chat with older ladies from neighbourhood about them and they are not surprised by me dragging 20L pots and bags of soil

Im a huge gardener so massive gardens all around d the yard, neighbors all buy the veggies, and most of them get smoked out when they come over to get em haha, luckily both of my neighbors are growin cuts from me hahaha

Went back and saw the upgrade that’s awesome! Now it’s time for a single photo scrog in there!

Ps I like the dry erase board!

That’s the plan, I’ve got some pennywise seeds that are 15/15 THC/CBD.

Just got a certain 1 gallon challenge to try not to embarrass myself in, to do in that room first!

Got a link for the seeds? My wife isint a big smoker she’ll rip one here or there with me or when she’s got a headache but I’ve never grown a CBD strain before I bet she’d smoke that more knowing it was 50/50

I gotta learn to make tinnicures she’d take that no problem

That’s the uk link but pretty sure they have a base in the states too.

The main difference I’ve notice with the 50/50 I’ve grown so far compared to the two strains I’ve just finished which have little/no cbd is that it doesn’t give you paranoia.

I’m hoping that the cbd I’m growing at the moment will go nicely if I mix it with the THC strains I’ve got as I fucking hate that paranoid feeling.

Yeah tinctures salves and edibles is something I’m definitely going to do soon. Likewise I think my wife would get into it more that way.

Saturday evening catch up

I think stress killer is a week or two away from harvest so I gave her a last feed yesterday and will give just plain old water from now.

Got some heavy buds so now I see the necessity of a scrog net as they’re being weighed down. Will definitely get that sorted before the next grow.

NL and Cosmos are doing ok, I did some more LST just now.
I’ve still got an issue with fungus gnats despite using nematodes and diatomaceous earth so any other remedies would be welcome.

SJ in my 1g is also coming along nicely

Another harvest done
Apart from deal with fungus gnats this has by far been the smoothest grow I’ve done.

It certainly helps when you’re getting the good info from top growers so thanks to this community.

There was a lot of sugar leaf on this plant so I’ve taken off all the fan leaves and left sugar leaf to dry on the plant.

Northern lights and cosmos now well into flower. I have drilled a load of holes in the pots as they just weren’t drying and I was starting to see signs of overwatering(even though I only watered once)
