I considered one of these. The aerogarden was free. I was just giving it a whirl. For my needs I typically am good with dome, peat pellets. I only really need about 6 plants at a time right now. That clone king would make me want to do a true SOG in one gallons filling the tent with about 25 plants. Lol.They look nice. If u have a cloning problem, I use "The CLONE KING 25" for roots. It's only $65 and does 100% rate.
Just V shape the cut, dip in gel, set and forget. I always get 100% and you can run your clones until their root system is a foot long. You can propbably even use it to hydroponic a single plant till maturity with base supplements added.

I can imagine. I had 12 in a 5x5. Creative have watering for sure. Ideally, I feel a true SOG with a decent amount of containers would benefit from automated drip or flood and drain system. I'll stick with 4-6 specimen plants. Haha. Those clone Kings dwc or a mist/spray system?Lmfao.. You just described my second harvest. I couldn't get myself to throw out the clones.. dude, worst idea ever. You know how hard it is to water 25 pots in a 4x8?
Spray system.. Its elite man.I can imagine. I had 12 in a 5x5. Creative have watering for sure. Question. You grow in soil base or hydro? Just wondering about the cages around the roots. They look nice. If u have a cloning problem, I use "The CLONE KING 25" for roots. It's only $65 and does 100% rate.

That's a good turn around. I may invest in a better cloning method as it usually takes me about 15 days with pellets.Stupid cages.. I do soil and that pic was from my first time around when I thought the cages helped keep the roots separate. Instead it made taking the plants out of the cage impossible. I had to cut the off carefully.. Now without the cage, if you let it sit too long, the roots from different plants can entangle.
I run it for about 10 days now. Gives me almost 3 in of roots and that's enough to transfer..

Yeah. I think the open root mist environment really speeds it up. The whole air/moisture exposure thing. This aerogarden is drowning the roots. The water is aerated though. I'm thinking about just cutting some foam to use as inserts to suspend the cutting in the solution with no peat material around it.You have white stubs within 48 hours and 7 days later, you have atleast 2-3 inches. In reality, the time it takes for a plant to die and the time it takes for you 2 have enough root, you can probably soil it when you see the white stubs and itll grow enough to accept transfer from soil before it dies from starving.
Just make sure you use the root gel at start and the root solution on day 4 or 5 if you go down this route.
Best $70 I've ever spent.
